Super frustrating, they put items on sale and run out the first day. Instacart order of 26 item some sales some not. replacement or refund of 18 items. The shopper is great sending me pics of empty shelves and replacement options. 100% Walmart fault! Do Better!
Horrible customer service. The employees who work here are accusatory. I went to pay at the self checkout area with my mom and when we were about to pay, the machine suddenly shutdown. On the pin-pad it read “too many transactions can’t process” - something along the lines of that. I called over an employee and asked for help. The employee then accused us of abusing the machine by “tapping too much.”nnMy mom did not tap the machine, she inserted the card once and didn’t even get the chance to press in her PIN number. I told the employee that but she seemed very sure that it was OUR FAULT that their machine was faulty.nnAdditionally, instead of helping us to another machine or even fixing the machine for us, she continued to blame us for the error message. The management here should train their employees to handle these situations better as this specific employee seemed very stressed and unsure what to do.nnI guarantee that everyone at this establishment was just trying to pay and get out. Instead of training their employees to argue and accuse, Guildford Town Centre’s Walmart Management should train their employees to handle these situations better to ensure quick and easy shopping.nnThis experience did not only slow me from getting home quick but also hold up other shoppers’ experience. Do better.
This is the corn they were selling this morning. Do they not know that corn does not go in the same place as celery and lettuce it doesn't like water on it. Don't know why the Manager would let this go on
I recently visited the Walmart at Guildford Town Centre in Surrey and was disappointed with several aspects of my experience. On the morning of February 1, 2025, I encountered an older security staff member who was rude and unsupportive to customers and seemed inattentive, engaging in personal conversations by the entrance instead of remaining alert.nnIn the electronics department, I waited over 10 minutes to purchase a PS5 controller because the associate present refused to bring it to the self-checkout area. Additionally, all other associates appeared on break, leaving no one else available to assist. On 2025 January 31nnThe washrooms also lacked proper signage during cleaning times; instead of clear notices, the entrances were blocked with cleaning equipment, causing confusion.nnThese issues poorly reflect the store’s customer service and operational efficiency.
Walmart at Guildford location is being undergoing some renovation. The seafood section is done. It looks so bright and clean. Lots choice of live, fresh and frozen seafood.
