As a general rule, I don't like Walmart. Most in my vicinity are disgusting, crowded, dirty, and I leave vowing never to return. However, there are exceptions to every rule and this location is one. It's a clean store with friendly employees and is kept pretty well stocked. Tons of parking. It's also about halfway between my home and Champaign, so it's a convenient stopping point when I drove down I-57.

Not a good experience, guess I came on a bad day. Order a chicken dinner, the chicken was terrible, burn on the outside and raw on the inside. The cashier apparently had lock jaw, barely got a thank you out of her. Restrooms stunk and was dirty. Good side the do allow truck parking. The employee in the fry area was bad and complaining about his job apparently, not a good thing to do.

I used to work at this Walmart. I was very proud to say that I worked there. In 9 years you can sure tell a difference. They do not keep the selves stocked like we did. You ALWAYS have to wait in line at the register. And they have cut the staff in half. Advise to anyone that works there. DON'T GET HURT!!!! 9 years later and I am still fighting to get my back fixed. And not one day of wages......

Just off I-57 at exit 308 Kankakee south. Smaller than some stores but easy to shop
