Walmart Saint-Hyacinthe Store

So had a weird experience at this location. There was this homeless person outside the store that looked disabled and was begging for money I only had my debit so walked past him to go inside. After doing a bit of groceries I was leaving and remembered the man and stopped at the McDonald's inside to buy him a meal because I didn't have the cash. Spent around 15 bucks but felt good that at least I was helping someone. When I gave it to him the man took the food but stopped me from leaving and kept demanding me to go back inside and ask for cash back from the cashier to pay him. This man was literally being given 10 dollar bills if not more by others but still wanted me to go back and get him cash. I have noticed he has been there every single time I go and its always the same thing. My rent is late I need money give me money. This experience taught me to be careful before helping anyone. Please be aware of the guy sitting at the front entrance asking for money and harassing the customers. Other than that this location is pretty decent good employees and staff. Clean and stocked most of the times.

The bathrooms in this walmart are absolutely nasty and dirty. Especially the bathroom by the toy section. Smells , bathroom toilets all dirty and no toilet paper to use.nnAnd I did notice cleaning staff in the store. So how does the bathroom not get maintained properly.nnThe store makes enough money to keep the bathroom clean

Worst customer service. I got a coffee maker as a gift from my workplace and I do not use it so I decided to return it so I can buy something useful against of it. I got a receipt from my manager and he told me that I can either exchange or get a refund from any nearby store. So finally I went to this store and the lady working there name is Hana said me that they have only one month return window for home used goods so I can't get a refund. I was shocked if it's true then please spread awareness of it to the customer through posting something inside the store which is clearly visible to everyone. Finally I went to the another store and got my refund I don't know how it would be possible that 2 stores from the same chain have different policies.

Worst experience. Employee named Riya don’t know how to deal with the situation and communicate with the customer. We did not have the physical card and the bill was above $250. She cleverly blamed us for not bringing the physical card. When we asked her to split the bill, she told us that there is some sort of upgrade, she will not be able to split the bill. I just asked her she could have let us know this before scanning whole grocery items. She replied rudely “Its not my responsibility to ask every customer if they have physical card or not”. At last, she said take care next time, we are not going to help you again.

It's a nice location for shopping your daily items and more. It's a Super centre so it has variety of items such as Grocery, Dairy, Frozen items, Bakery Fashion, Kitchen appliances, entertainment and Electronics, Pets food and shelter , Hardware, Sports, Auto, Pharamasy, Barbeque, Camping stuff, Summer activity related items, etc. You also get lots of Indian grocery options and there is a great section for other international food items too.nnThey have facility to pick up online orders too. So customer must order online and then the store arranges to keep it ready for pick up. Prices are reasonable but unfortunately they don't price match any more. There return policy of 30 - 60 - 90 days stands for most of the items you buy and they honor it.nnDon't forget to check their Clearance section. They have good items at half the price. They are usually good items in itself but only defect is in the outer package which can be damaged by other customers or in normal movement within store.
