Fairly large and well stocked, ample amount of parking as it’s located inside a mall. It was clean and fairly empty when I went. I was able to find staff quickly to assist with what I was looking for.nnThere are two check out stands, one near the main entrance, the other at the mall entrance. The one near the mall entrance is self check out. Should you wish to pay cash, attendant will assist you.
I'm a delivery driver in Ottawa. I actually LOVE going to Riverside Walmart above and beyond all the other ones in this city. THIS Walmart the staff is above and beyond. They are always so kind & helpful if I can't find an item for my customers. They go above and beyond to help me and so many others. I've worked retail, I don't think I could maintain their level of kindness if I had to work in a store like that. Amazing staff, shelves stocked & stressfree shopping.
The produce isn’t fresh and it’s always so close to the expiry date. I also found a lot of products on shelves that were way past the expiry date. I accidentally purchased and consumed expired soy milk from here and fell sick. A lot of basic things that I used to purchase regularly like coconut milk, tofu and tomato purée are never restocked regularly. Better inventory management is required.
Came here to pick up some items in the beauty department with my girlfriend and it was a complete disaster!nnI can understand if the area has low inventory, but this has been ransacked and with the mix of open and used products was unbelievable. Very unhygienic.nnShe found some lashes she needs to pick up, but they’re locked with a security key so you need an associate to unlock them for you. After finally tracking down someone they paged for another person to come unlock it, twice. We waited 10 minutes and no one bothered to show.nnI honestly would not recommend coming to this location for their beauty section is was a mess.
They don't know what to stock and how to stock, it should be the easiest thing in their life... ZERO sugars are not the stock instead they put sugars. I told them that 100 times to customer service and they still don't do it correctly. You can't just put anything without looking at the stickers...
