I went to Walmart today specifically to buy lashes at the cosmetic department and noticed that the lashes on the display isle were all locked so, I was unable to get it myself. I talked to a lady who works at the cosmetic department and asked if she could assist me with unlocking a few items I was hoping to purchase. She told me that she did not have a key so, I went searching for another staff who may be able to help me and I found a staff in the kitchen supplies department. She told me that she does not have any key or the cosmetic department because she does not work there. She followed me to speak with the lady who works at the cosmetic department to ask about the key and it was the same lady whom i initially spoke to, and still no key. I decided to ask another staff who was at the cosmetic isle and sure enough they did the same, and addressed it to the initial lady whom I initially spoke to about assisting me. The first lady I talked to left to apparently get the key from what the third staff I talked to had told me. I waited for almost 10 minutes and the initial staff who left to "get the key" didn't acknowledge me when she came back. I approached her to ask about the key and she seemed annoyed to let me know that the key was with another staff who had it at home. I then went to customer service thinking how ridiculous this is because, they should have an extra key at least but, the staff at the customer service also said they don't have an extra key. This was such a terrible experience at the cosmetic department. The store should have multiple keys or at least one extra key so customers do not have to "come back another day/time" as I was told to do.
Had a pickup for an online order today. The people we dealt with were super friendly, quick to bring out our parcel and put it right in our vehicle. Very impressed! We even got a small thank you gift :
I did some Christmas shopping after work on Friday. I went to Costco all good, then Walmart and Canadian Tire at Preston Crossing. NEVER EVER have I encountered such RUDE and obnoxious staff at Walmart like I did tonight! I made the "fatal" mistake of not having a loonie for a cart. I politely asked for a cart and I got snarled at by the cart retriever and told to "go get a loonie!" at one door. At another door, I politely asked someone else: This worker gave me a dirty look and gave me a cart in the rudest manner possible. Next, I asked a staff member if they knew where the lint brushes were, but he didn't speak English. Next up was check out: The cashier gave grief to the lady ahead of me with legitimate coupons. I knew I was next as I had a coupon for a dollar off paper towels. As predicted, the cashier studied my coupon for an expiry date there isn't one until I counted ELEVEN 11 customers behind me. No Christmas spirit there! After that, I went across the street to Canadian Tire: Night and day difference! Polite and helpful staff, and a WAY more welcoming environment for customers. Leaves one to wonder what kind of management these two places have to experience such a dramatic difference in customer service!
You guys need to fire both the lady that worked in the make up section and the lady working at customer service. Yelling at customers is NOT ok! Also, clean up your store and put your inventory in the right spot in the make up section. Your inventory prices are not marked properly in your system, scamming people is NOT ok! How many people were scammed today? I know the customers directly behind were also having to go to customer service as well. They probably overheard everything. Also, the lady at customer service needs to learn the rules. It's 10 dollars off, not 10 percent. Another emplyee agreed and she said shes not dealing with this and walked away! To the lady in the make up section, it's totally disrespectful to call customers liars to their face. Clean your store and put things where they belong, simple.. That make up section is a disgrace! It wasn't even busy tonight! Also, just because your customers are young, it doesn't give you the green light to bully them. I'll be a secret shopper tomorrow, I really do need some foundation. Also, complaints will be made to head office. 2 hours spent because your employees don't know how to put inventory in it's place. Time to grow up and be professional.
I went here a couple days ago, I used the self check out which i use to avoid the associates, I had not one but two different female associates watch me as I rang through my stuff, the one kept asking if i needed help i said no. As i was about to leave the one lady approaches me and asks if i had sneakers, i said yes, then she asks well did you scan them? LADY you were watching me! i then went and complained and the manager basically said nothing. I feel as i was targeted as there were many other customers in the self check out. As i was leaving i yelled at the one lady saying "have a good day maybe go watch other customers, you work at wal mart relax" I work a good paying job i do not need to steal. Again if you are gonna have self check out TRUST YOUR CUSTOMERS! This is by far the worst wal mart of them all.
Great customer service, from price check to searching for items, through checkout and departure. Clear evidence of superior training and motivated employees. Good job, please sustain!
This is the least funded WalMart I have ever been to. No tills are ever open except for 2. Lots of lineups to pay. Worst customer experience. You have the tills, have a person there taking peoples money! Pretty bad service in an Amazon economy. Otherwise, not much else to say, its a typical WalMart that is starting to look like a bankruptcy clearance center.
This walmart has alot of customers to its location. You'll most of the thing online that your looking for there and there is always the occasional sale on items. They do have groceries section, clothing section, outdoor section medical and automotive section. The cashing area is all self check out with two or three physical cashiers.
Cashier was extremely slow. Not to many tills open. Express line was closed, so long waits. My bbq chicken was cold before I even left the store. Worst Walmart experience ever. Washrooms were clean though, and this store has a high powered hand dryer at least. I took some pics of the completely unmanned express area. All closed off.
Wow! Really appreciate excellent customer service at this store! Amazing! I never went through the self checkouts but that lady, Jigna, helped me to scan a cart full of items and checkout very smoothly and that too amazingly quick. Bravo to superhelpful Jigna!
