Stopped in to use the washroom on my way to the train. Needless to say, GROSS!nnDid the security guard follow me around afterwards to stop me from posting this? I'll never know. I made it out unscathed and feces free. BUT, I should have grabbed some of the toilet paper off the floor to blow my nose. It won't stop running! Allergies!
I am incredibly frustrated with my recent experience at Walmart. I went there with my daughter, who has Angelman syndrome and struggles with mobility. I specifically requested a manual wheelchair for her so I could push her around while we did some shopping. However, I was informed that they only had four motorized wheelchairs available. When I explained that my daughter is not mentally able to operate a motorized wheelchair, I was shocked that the staff assumed all disabled individuals can use them.nnAfter expressing my concerns, I asked to speak with a manager. After a long wait, the manager was kind and instructively asked her assistant manager to find a manual wheelchair for us. Once again, I found myself waiting. When I finally asked the manager for an update, she contacted the assistant manager, only to inform me that they don’t have any manual wheelchairs available at all.nnTo add insult to injury, I was given a $25 gift card as an apology for the inconvenience, but now I have to take my disabled daughter back to the car and travel to another Walmart in hopes of finding a wheelchair. This situation is completely unacceptable!nnHow can a Walmart store not have a manual wheelchair available for their disabled customers? This is outrageous. While the staff were polite and offered apologies, it did nothing to alleviate my frustration or the distress my daughter was experiencing. She doesn't understand why our plans changed, and the upset caused her to throw a tantrum in the store.nnThis is the unfortunate reality for many families dealing with disabilities—especially not having a basic necessity like a wheelchair available at a large store like Walmart. This whole experience has been incredibly disappointing and has left me feeling disregarded as a customer.
I bought a few items from this Walmart and wanted to return a few out of them. It had been around a month since I bought them. The customer service lady who provided service to me was very very rude and unprofessional. Her name was Rowena, she deserves a negative 10 star rating, but I can only give her 1 star. She was the worst encounter I have ever had in my life. She asked me the reason of return and when I told her that I have changed my mind, she started asking more questions and told me that you suddenly changed your mind after one month and now want to return the items, we are not a rental service and blah blah. This was so rude and unprofessional of her, I wanted to give her a shut up call but I was not there to fight with her and we are respectful people who are taught to respect others and specially ladies. But that lady deserves some training and moral lessons as well on how to treat people. She refused to return the items and I had to come back with them. I would never recommend this place to anyone and specially this lady, Rowena.nI was also overcharged for pillows that I bought in this transaction, I told her about that but she did not help me at all. She asked me to come again sometime as if I am free to go there every day. Overall a very negative experience.
I go here a lot, parents going shopping but I don't like this location. It's good for you if you need to go in and out to grab just a couple of things, but being in here for a long period of time can sometimes feel like torture. it's really dirty and gross, also the people here are quite rude, customers and employees. And yes, I know it's currently being renovated as I'm reviewing this 26/8/24, but basically half the store is closed due to that. I couldn't even get some snacks because of it. But anyway, try to go to East Hills if you can.
This store is SO bad. In every aspect. It's so messy and unorganized that there's stuff thrown everywhere, piled on top of each other. You can't find anything. Theres missing tags, half of one thing, then half of another lined in the same spot, empty shelves. What's the point of the planogram if you're not going to follow it? Even though something is listed on the website as in stock, you go in and can't find it anyway! I should know better, whenever I go in here, not one thing on my list is stocked. Rude and unhelpful staff. This place needs a management sweep before it gets so bad they can't recover. I'm telling you it's bad.
