Very similar to US stores. Prices are a little higher but this particular store was well stocked. Friday afternoon and registers were all closed. Only self Checkout was available. Had an issue scanning an item, an employee came quickly and was able to fix the problem using his smartphone. That was impressive!
HORRIBLE! 01/07/2023: No carriages indoors and we had to go back outside in the parking lot to get one. Not a biggie normally, but very unprofessional. Dirty store with lack of inventory. All cash registers CLOSED on a Saturday! They forced clients to use their automated cashiers with well over 100 people waiting in line… like a bunch of sheep. When my girlfriend went to complain, the employee was surprised but said, “we keep asking the managers for us to open them but we’re told no.”. So we left behind $250+ of groceries and walked out. Unacceptable.
Holiday season, and ONE cashier on ONE cash? You have one old lady, at the only cash open at the biggest Walmart in the area? I've been in line so long I felt compelled to write a review right from the line up. Unacceptable.
Bought two Vanilla Prepaid gift cards and paid for activation fee for both. Gave the card away as gift and the recipient came back and told me the card was invalid. Called the number behind the back of card and follow the instructions and typed in the credit card number and the system told me it was invalid. Went back to Walmart to ask for refund or to do something about it. They told me to go and complain with Vanilla Visa. I am a victim of fraud. Maybe the cashier at Walmart did not activate my card but Walmart would not man up to the fact that they sold me two invalid cards. BEWARE of Vanilla VISA, very dangerous, read bout it online before you buy.
I go to Walmart every week many years cause I live around Dix 30. It was good but today I am really not satisfied with my pick up experience . The person who worked in the pick up center around lunch time, I don’t think he knows what his responsibilities are or he just doesn’t like this job.
I am not the type to leave reviews at all, unless I had an extremely good experience or, on the other hand, a really bad one. I’ll let you guess what experience I had based on the amount of stars I gave that Walmart. Honestly, if i could, I would of put 0 stars. A little back story, my second time in Quebec, but my first time in Brossard. I am not even being a little dramatic when I say this is literally the worst Walmart I have ever walked in. Customer service, horrible. Some of the employees and managers mostly literally will make sure you feel a 100% unwelcome. I’m talking judgmental stares, evil gossip against clients and things of that kind. I have also noticed lots of racism and discrimination against minorities within the two times and last times I walked into that place. Sad to say that this is just one of the many problems this place seems to have. The managers working there truly have no idea of what they are doing and don’t acknowledge all the obvious issues within their store. Some of them are the literal issues themselves. Nasty attitude, disrespectful, no manners, just horrible people and mind you, I am not the usual type to judge. Appart from that, this place is really dirty. Horrible smell as well. No store maintenance at all. Looking through the reviews, I see some positive reviews and i’m for real disappointed that I didn’t get to have the same experience as those people.
I did my nails with tip on sunday and the tuesday they broke… They cost me 69$. So if u want quality don’t go there
This store is the worst ever I had to go to customer service for them to open the gardening section, in order to have access to buy soil. Why should it be FORT KNOX to get soil?. After waiting 20 min. no one helped. I asked the store manager, so they called for Nathalie. I waited 35 min. Never showed up. So I asked again, they realised that Nathalie is not working so they called Valerie. I waited 20 more minutes. NO SHOW. They called her again, this time they let me talk to her. She said she's on her way. Waited an other 30 min. Before she showed up. Meanwhile an arrogant clerk offered me a refund after making me wait 90 minutes. An hour 20 minutes! to get soil ! Just to say Walmart head office site Do not have a customer service Email. They want you to spend hours at the store in order tell the HOW INCOMPETENT they are!
Walmart decided to install self serve cashes instead of having actual cashiers. Well guess what guys my credit card got frauded. Guess where it was from self serve cashes. Don’t use them.
No cashiers. I don’t work for you. Would you like me to unload some pallets while I’m at it? Absolutely ridiculous that customers are expected to do the work of employees!
