Wahta Station

Visit June 4, 2022. I have been here several times to both the convenience store as well as next door at the very popular Mrs. H's Fish & Chips. NEW this year the Ice Cream Castle, an ice cream stand on the property. The Wahta Station has great staff, extensive collection of sundry goods, high quality gifts and tobacco products.

Beautiful selection of handmade Mukluks, great prices for tobacco products, staff was very welcoming friendly and professional, Miss H fish n chips was delicious with decent portion of fish, batter was light and crispy, fries cooked perfectly and the coleslaw was the best I've ever had, highly recommend, returning customer

Cute little convenience store in Wahta Territory. Carries typical convenience store merchandise with a twist. Since it’s on First Nation territory, it also has a selection of indigenous crafts and products plus a walk-in humidor for cigar lovers.

Whata station is the best place for good people, and friendly staff. They sell home made frozen food, also jams, and smokes. They have a wonderful selection of dresses, tops, and moccasins, plus a few other items. They sell top of the line fish and chips next door, though Berta is retired now and dearly missed each time I visit. Been going here for years, and is certainly one of my most loved places.

The wife and I just love their Fish and chips. 2 full dinners and you are looking for a place to put your head down.?? The people that run it are very friendly and it's the$50 dollar dinner that keeps them happy. Well worth the trip.

This is a pretty regular stop for me. Great food, great service. The fish is amazing and the portions are huge!! Just had my first breakfast sandwich there and it was like having 2 sandwiches on one english muffin. Couldn't even finish it soooo good though!! Bring an empty stomach and maybe a friend to share lol

I'd never been there before, stopped in on my trucking route. Hadda try the fish n chips at the famous Mrs. H's, and boy was it good. I'll definitely go there again. Parking is a bit tight if you have a large vehicle or you're towing a trailer, but I do recommend stopping if you can.

Saw the commercial. fish and chips looked good at mrs H's... went. and they were !!... service was quick.... limited outdoor patio tables.. bought a couple shirts.... washed before wore it and the front ink on the logo washed right off all over the shirt. quality zero. oh well. no returning them i guess. worth a one time visit for sure. would have given 5 stars, the shirt experience ruined it. pleasant in and out visit anyway. yay for marketing. *** REVIEW UPDATE to 5 stars...OWNER very accommodating to correct the issue with the shirts .....that kind of service in itself is worth 5 stars. thanks for being attentive and caring about your customers. i appreciate it !!!

Fish and chips are good, a little pricey. Store was good. Yp the road was the Liquidation Nation, that was pretty barren. maybe if you want fireworks, otherwise, not much for us. Towards the 400, very cheap diesel fuel!!

Just finished our camping trip and went alittle out of our way for the best fish and chips in Muskoka. Mrs.H fish and chips was well worth the drive!
