W.G Johnson Centre

This is a great facility, I have only been to the pool, but there is also a nice basketball court, gym with treadmills etc. The facility is clean and well maintained. The pool is great, it is fully accessible in multiple modes of travel with a built in wheelchair ramp or 3 foot diving board, choose your own adventure! The hot tub has room for 8 and the sauna is also available to relax after your swim.

I had never been even though I walk by everyday with my dog. My daughter and I went for the public swim and I was super impressed. Friendly staff, very clean and friendly and attentive life guard's. The pool was great and the hot tub was relaxing. I'm definitely going to go back and look into more activities run through WG

Staff were great when it came to renting the hall and even helped with set up . Extremely happy with this rental and highly recommend this place.

Nice but odd length 23.5m - just shy of 26 yards pool with a living wall that helps air quality and large windows at the shallow end - have seen the sun set from the wall between intervals countless times, and it's nice and bright on a sunny afternoon. The hot tub is lovely when it's actually operating, but the showers in the women's wet changeroom have virtually no water pressure. Lane swim hours seem to get shorter and less convenient each year, but it remains a decent place to knock out a few thousand yards.

Great big pool with good hours for leisure swimming. Great place for kids, with a ton of different activities available through Cambridge recreation.

I went specifically to use the hot tub for physiotherapy. It was lukewarm at best. The noise from the vibration of the diving board gets amplified because of all the concrete so you can't hear yourself think. Nice to have a variety of options for locking up your clothes instead of the usual one size fits all approach. For my needs there are better options out there.

Take my grandkids here every week. Everyone is very helpful, and always very clean. Thank you Cambridge for this wonderful facility.

Need to update lockers in girls' change room due to rusty or hard to open/close.

While visiting family in Hespeler, we went swimming here a couple of times. They had full covid protocols in effect, which I found reassuring. The pool is excellent for lane and family swims. It has an easy access walk-in ramp, which I appreciated with my bad hip. The facility was very clean, and the staff ere friendly and courteous. A great community asset!
