Story

Whether you come for lunch, dinner or a drink with friends, you'll enjoy a breathtaking view (great from any table, thanks to The Voyageur's large picture windows) as huge ocean-faring freighters glide by, only a matter of yards from your table!

Be accompanied by live singing and piano music by Harry Krause starting at 6pm every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And on the street side, The Voyageur Sports Bar adds a bits of revelry, featuring Keno, several large screen televisions to view all the big games and a great menu.

A nice, solidly reassuring sort of place. Decent food and good service. Decidedly un-hip and unpretentious. It's mainly a hang out of the Boomer set... but nothing wrong with that. Great big windows running the length of the establishment with awesome views of passing ships. After eating, go for a walk on the boardwalk through the park. One of our favorite places to grab a bite as we ramble up the coast. Recommended.

Voyageur is a water front restaurant with lots of Windows, subdued lighting, and a candle on every table. At 6ish a very good pianist played for us. It was romantic, we had a excellent meal of Salmon, shrimp, and scallops. Our waitress was helpful and nice. They don't have any beer on tap, but a nice selection was available. If you are dining after dark like we were they have two sets of spot lights aimed at the water for viewing. We loved watching the ducks swimming around.

Our server Ann was amazing! The food was great so was the atmosphere. It was worth the drive from Rochester Hills. Absolutely love your restaurant. Will be back soon.

The Voyageur is a favorite one of ours, for multiple reasons. It is right on the St. Clair river so we can watch pleasure boats & freighters go by, the food is consistently good & the drive to get there along the water is a pleasant one. The menu hasn't changed a lot over the years, but that is okay, as the food is always fresh & good. My family members LOVE their perch & walleye & swear that the Voyageur has the best around. After you fill up, a rest on the benches along the river is a perfect ending.

Stick with the FRUITS and vegetables. For God sakes don't mistake this place for a great fish joint. It's not. Don't waste your time or money. you'll be better served to pick up some frozen fishsticks.
