Service was excellent! Food tasted great but compared to other local spots of the same caliber, P.J.'s portion size for their sides were smaller for meals of near equal value. Not in a crazy way or anything just noticeably so. I understand the insurance and property taxes they must pay to maintain the location, which is great! Just trying to be fair in the review comparing other locations we've been to along the St. Clair river. Definitely a place I recommend for a once per vacation or date night.
Great selection, food was really good and the view is terrific! Waitstaff is friendly and attentive. All 3 of my grandkids finished their plates! Definitely worth the stop!
A delightful evening at Pepper Joes. Great food, inexpensive drinks we’re from Chicago and an amazing service from “knee brace”. Our food was tasty and “knee brace” helped us decide on the huge selection. She made recommendations on our sides and salads no balsamic and was bubbly and vivacious. “Knee brace” could take a joke and dish one back faster than the food. The bus boy was almost as funny and overall made the night good fun. If I’m ever back in Saint Clair I’ll make sure to drop into Pepper Joes.
Relaxing atmosphere. We sat outdoors on the deck. Up close view of all of the boats going by on the river. Our waitress Emma was very pleasant and made great suggestions for lunch. If you are looking for a spot to just relax and enjoy a drink and a great meal outdoors, Pepper Joes is a good choice! Order the Michigan Cherry Margarita and the Perch Sando, or one of their burgers and a Guinness...you will be glad you did!!
