Amazing margaritas, one of the best burgers out there, and the salsa is out of this world. Seriously, I regularly come in just to buy salsa for my apartment. You can really feel the history of the establishment while dining in. Vivas doesn't do EVERYTHING perfect, but what they get right they absolutely nail. Long live Viva Zapata!
Went in there for a drink. When close to the bottom of a cider I found what I thought was specs of dirt from a dirty glass. I asked the bartender make sure the glass is clean and I would like another. The second glass had the same issue. The cider is cloudy and therefore, I could not see the specs of dirt at the bottom of the glass until it was almost finished. I went to go settle my bill and told The bartender he needs to clean the lines. Bartender went to the manager and she made a awful remark. I asked her to come over and her attitude was horrible. They obviously don't clean their tap lines.
Went to go enjoy a nightcap for my friends birthday but was met with a rude bartender who would not serve drinks when it was 11pm and they were open till 1am. Lazy bartender who wanted to close extra early. Disappointed as me and my friends have made awesome memories there but I will not be back. Terrible customer service
The food is hit-or-miss but the customer service is consistently awful. We have experienced dine-in and takeouts. There is always something wrong with the orders. Instead of admitting they’re wrong and trying to make up for the customer, they respond with rudeness. The tall large woman who works there doesn’t have any shame on yelling at anyone when she feels like, even the customers.
This place is Soo good. The food we got was amazing and the margaritas were delicious. I had the quesafijita with quac and red onions. The venue was awesome and I will definitely say the music was totally on point. The only blemish on the meal was the service. The server was friendly but took us quite some time to get our order in and get our food.
From the welcome to the service...to most importantly the food!!! A-ma-zing! I couldn't have asked for a better experience or meal. Our food or drinks were incredible and our entire party enjoyed themselves. I'll be back. Thank you for the great food and enjoyable time.

Place was practically empty on a Sat night. Margaritas were too sweet and my chicken chimichanga tasted like boiled chicken with cheese. Steak fajitas were fatty. Overall, not great. Too bad as I used to be a regular many years ago and it was packed with people and the food was good.
Place was empty-for a Saturday night! Kinda makes you wonder why every other place has a wait time and this place doesn’t. A large blonde women approached us who was very rude when we asked a question and we heard her speak to her employees like their trash. I’ll take my business and spread the word of mouth. I can’t stand people who belittle people trying to work your lucky you have employees. Learn how to talk to people-true Karen!
Ordered a tamale and a beef enchilada. The ground beef was huge chunks of meat when we cut into them it was not cooked. Called the restaurant to let them know. The guy that answered said it was highly unlikely the meat was still red inside and that I was a liar. Wow great customer service!!!! NEVER EVER will we order from there again. The rest of the food was cold and had a horrible taste. The rice tasted burnt the corn tortillas that were the enchiladas were just falling apart like mush. Terrible
