We went to Cineplex Brossard VIP to see Top Gun. Be aware the VIP section is totally separate which located in the left side of the main entrance. VIP salon has about 30 seats, whit super comfortable big chairs. Washrooms are all individual rooms and very clean. There is a bar when you walk in, and also pool table you can play. The good thing is you can scan the QR code menu and order drinks/food brought to your theatre seats by staff which is cool. The food and popcorn was delicious . We enjoyed , TopGun is a great movie, recommended.
Went to see Top Gun in VIP. First off, VIP is totally separate entrance about 200 feet East of main doors. Overall good experience, huge comfortable chairs. Bathroom stalls are all individual rooms too, nice touch. There’s a bar when you walk in, also saw many people getting drinks/food brought to their theatre seats by staff. Just be warned, butter on your popcorn is extra and it’s $11.50 total ….YES. So I would ignore the VIP next time & just go to the “normal” side in AVX etc, also VIP had lots of people talking throughout the film, little respect for those who enjoy silence at the movies
I really liked the theater with side screens and food was also good. Also liked the infrastructure and the staff. Why 4 stars then? Well, everything is VERY expensive!!
Went to see Avatar in VIP section. I ordered fish and chips and replaced the French fries for a poutine. One of the worst meals I have ever experienced. Horrible, terrible, fish fried in oil that tasted a year old. Disgusting poutine, cold fries and sauce. Not for human consumption. My wife's poutine was the same. Horrible meal experience that cost over $35 greatly reduced the pleasure of going out to the movies. Sad:-
This review is being written solely on the 'SCREEN X' movie experience!! We were given gift cards for Christmas so we decided to splurge on a family night out at the movies. We went to see 'Avatar-The Way of Water' so good. With Avatar, you have some great options to watch the movie, outside of the classic viewing. We decided to spend more money and go with 'SCREEN X' instead of 3D. We had no idea what to expect as we had never heard of it before, but one of the staff explained that you have your main screen as well as 2 other screens on each other side. Unfortunately, those 2 side screens only played the movie approximately 25% of the time. In between scenes, those 2 side screens will shut off. I went to ask if this was normal and apparently it is. The movie itself was amazing and really nice when the 3 screens were on but I was really disappointed about the disappearing side screens, even though at times, I felt that we missed some nice cinematography moments that we could have watched in full SCREEN X. There is probably a perfectly good reason for it but now that I have experienced it, I will never waste my money on it again...$17.99 per adult, $13.99 per child!!. It is definitely not worth it UNLESS the 3 screens would have been on for most of the time. If you want to bump of your experience, go see it in 3D or other. But NOT SCREEN X! My personal opinion only, maybe other films are better:
VIP is great. 18+, meal & drink service to your seats, and the food is pretty good!! Had tacos and chicken burger
Went for a Saturday night movie... VIP section of tables was closed, popcorn counter was closed...only bar was open. Their reason was ...lack of staff... Extremely disappointed in the VIP experience. All around the bar before our movie...there were 3 or 4 sometimes employees giggling and having fun. .....wile at the price we pay and want to spend in the VIP experience..were forced to sit around or even stand up with no stools doing nothing!! I don't recommend this VIP experience at all. Paying top dollar for movies while getting a reduced experience....is not nice for the establishment to be doing! Will not go back....nor recommend it to anyone.
I'm here right now and it's disgusting. The place is nasty. We all know prices of food in movie theaters so I won't complain about that but for god's sake, clean up your counter, there was stuff everywhere, you could see that it was crusty and that it had not been cleaned in a while. My wife and I went into our Screen X room to see Avatar: the way of water, paid 18$ per ticket and the room had clearly not been cleaned, there were USED cups everywhere, popcorn on the floor and on seats we had to clean our own seats from previous customers' popcorn. It was disgusting. Furthermore, the chairs clearly needed to be replaced, we both could feel the springs coming out of our chair. I understand being short staffed but if you don't have enough staff to clean rooms, CLOSE THEM. This is not a staffing issue, this is clearly to maximize profit.
Not a VIP experience - seats are old, tearing apart and don’t recline. The table is also not cleaned and inconvenient. We’ve been to the Montreal cineplex VIP which is significantly nicer - this cinema needs major updating to be considered VIP. On the plus side, decent food, service and drinks. Would not recommend for VIP
Don't come here for VIP. First of all, the lounge/dining room is closed, so you can only get food if it's delivered to your movie seat. I had to check 3 different bathrooms to find soap AND paper to wash my hands. The chairs in the cinema are pretty old now and do not recline; they only slightly tilt back and aren't as comfortable as they should be. And lastly, the food is very mediocre for the price. Most of the items are small and lack flavour. The desserts are more expensive than most restaurants I know, yet small and underwhelming, making them a massive rip off. On the positive side, the cocktails are enjoyable, reasonably priced and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Overall, it does not feel very "VIP" at all...
