This school has very good teachers, the music program is very good and it offers a big variety of instruments such as the violin, cello, viola and bass.nnThis school does give lots of homework but I think it is beneficial for students to learn how to work with homework before making the jump to high school.nnThe school also has a great sports team and has many different sports you can play.nnSadly, compared to other schools, there are not many field trips but overall, it's a fun school.
This school rocks!! I've been here since gr 2 now I'm in gr 5 And people were very nice especially Logan chinedum and ms.oueĺlet.nAnd ms ough she's really funny we love playing with her! Keep rocking VM!
Great overall school. A little outdated and needs a few renovations but for the most part, it's alright. They are very accommodating to the secondary language program that takes place here every Saturday of the month, teachers are kind in that they allow us to use their classrooms, entrust the program with allowing its teachers to use their classes, desks without an issue. Thank you very much to it's day to day staff and kudos to the janitor for always doing an amazing job. All the best!
I have never dealt with a school with office staff that will go so far out of their way to inconvenience parents. One lady on the front desk told me she would mail me the report card as per policy, weeks later it was sent home with my child. The latest being I called to pick up my grade 7 early for a dentist appointment and was told they can't verify who I am over the phone because there was no note. Notes can be faked more than a phone call, but I guess she doesn't know that.nnWe have children of the same age in other schools and do not have any issues. With VM there is always issues and they always treat their teen students like small children, its ridiculous.
I've been playing Friday night's free pick up soccer for +5 years at this school's soccer field. Nice that the city allows free fields as this one. Feel free to join us. Girls and guys are both welcome.
