Mary Honeywell Elementary School

The government needs to investigate their Autism program immediately. 6 kids 4 teachers and her old school did a much better job. I genuinely do not trust them with my non verbal child. The lack of communication, and their idea of adequate care is in serious question. There should be cameras in every AUT classroom. These children can’t advocate for themselves and I believe they are set up to be mishandled with 0 accountability because the children can’t tell and there are no cameras. This needs to change. Anyone right now who has a kid in the Autism program should be concerned. Using D.C bus lines which has a history of mishandling special needs kids and a 2 star google review is unimaginable. My local McDonald’s has a better rating for crying out loud. I’m less than impressed to say the least. I do not feel like my daughter is safe in their care.

I loved my time here and all the teachers were nice except for mrs miller she was very mean. I was considering taking off a star for her but I loved the school itself and the other teachers too much so I'll let that slide. 2008 was my last year here and If I could I'd relive that year over again even if I could only do it once.

Best school! Will never forget the positive experiences my son had at this school from JK to Grade 6!

Its not actually good. I went TERRIBLE one teacher made me cry I go to the principle they do nothing THE TEACHER CALLED ME UGLY and many more hurt full things.
