Village Kitchen Restaurant

Stopped in yesterday for lunch while traveling. Absolutely blown away by the hospitality! When asked what my husband wanted he asked if they served eggs Benedict. He was told only on specials, but what the heck they would make him some but it would take a few extra minutes. Seriously, who does this??? Hub’s Egg Benedict was great as was my salad and very tasty, tender steak. Food was great but what really made the experience was the kind couple that owns and operates this restaurant. Amazing and we will be back!!!

Friendly service. My friend said her omelette was good. I thought the food was okay, nothing special. I didn't care for the gravy on the chicken fried steak, I asked for eggs over medium well-- but I got over easy, and they don't serve hash browns they serve mash browns (let the potato fully cool before you try to grate it) and they were dry and overcooked.

Service and food are great. Prices are reasonable to the plate portions. Very clean, floors,tables and fixtures. Bathrooms need upgraded.

I've eaten here probably a half dozen times and enjoyed the food every time. Service is typically pretty quick and friendly. Have had a slow server before but, we all have off days. It's a fun destination for a break when a group of us ride to Priest River. I enjoyed dining on the screened in deck in the back.

My family really enjoyed eating here. The food was amazing! The service was amazing! I definitely recommend this restaurant.
