Loved this place. Wish we would have eaten lunch here the next day when we were in town instead of giving another place a shot when we were visiting. When we come back we will be stop in. Save room for pie. Parking: lots of room for parking
One of the best breakfasts I've ever had! Great little diner with great food and friendly service. Not to mention the prices were good too. The "X" Special was my go-to, the French Toast here is amazing. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town
I got the Frisco Burger it was amazing. First time eating from Village Kitchen. I ordered take out and the food was hot by the time I got the food to my place of work. Lots of Fries. OMG the Fries are so good. We at Elwood Staffing love your food
This place is the best. GREAT food, GREAT staff and GREAT prices. Would love to have this restaurant in our town
Only eaten breakfast here and it was excellent. Place was busy but wait wasn't too long and food was worth the wait! Prices are good and service with a smile. Couldn't ask for more.
This is pretty much a staple in Angola. Has been here since I was a child in the 80s... probably longer. An old diner that is always full. Good food at a decent price.
Staff and servers were rude. I tried to give them the benefit of doubt as they were extremely busy but I witnessed them yell at multiple different customers and slam food and drink down on tables while carelessly spilling it. The food was ok, nothing wrong with it but nothing extraordinary either. Based on the service we received along with service witnessed for other customers I simply can't recommend this place. I know waitstaff are often underappreciated and I can certainly understand busting your tail to serve a lot of waiting customers but there's just no excuse for being so rude to multiple customers who were being compassionate and friendly.
The food was excellent. It was a little chaotic the day we were there, so there were times it was hard to get the waitresses' attention. I would definitely go back, though.Food: 5/5
Nice little restaurant. Enjoyed breakfast, biscuit & gravy, Denver Omelet, shredded hashbrowns, #A egg, bacon, rye toast. All homestyle. Coffee never went dry. Experienced staff was attentive. Fair prices. Definitely recommend. Only photo is my buddy I was dining with!
It was ok for a local diner. Baked potato was rubbery and not eatable. The fried chicken was way overdone. Mostly dry. Salads had wilted lettuce. The cod was good. People where nice.
