My husband and I went for our date night and it was absolutely amazing! Riley was our server and she was fantastic! The appetizer, drinks, and meal was phenomenal! Everything was cooked to perfection! I would definitely recommend going! We can't wait to go back! Loved the atmosphere! It's definitely our new go to restaurant in town!Food: 5/5
Went in tonight and had a wonderful experience. The French Onion soup we started with was phenomenal. The bread was warm and delicious, I suggest asking for butter if you aren't a fan of oil and basalmic vinegar. I ordered the New York Strip steak, which came out cooked perfectly. The seasoning on it is amazing! I didn't save room for dessert, but decided to take the Carrot Cake Cheesecake home and I'm so glad I did. Definitely don't pass on this fine restaurant if you are in Angola.
My wife and I eat here at least monthly. The food is always good, and atmosphere is exactly what we’re looking for. Expect to spend more time here than at Applebees, quality takes time, not a microwave. Reservations are almost always a requirement as the tables are in high demand. The appetizers are all good, and at this point we’ve tried them all. I usually try something different, but my wife likes the pork chops so much she won’t order anything else. If somehow you manage to save room for dessert, the carrot cake cheesecake is by far the best dessert I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Parking: Parking lot directly across street, almost not traffic. Wheelchair accessibility: Completely wheelchair accessible. Entrance is an Ada grade ramp.
My fiance and I's favorite restaurant for date night. The atmosphere is so comforting and relaxing, as soon as you walk in. Every single employee I have met there has been so friendly and welcoming. The food....absolutely delicious! And if you're willing, their cocktails are also amazing! Will forever be coming back. Love this place.
Awesome dinner with the wife. 1st time there and loved it. The goat cheese stuffed mushroom caps were awesome. We both had the ribeye w/grilled onions and enjoyed them very much!! Full of flavor and juicy! We will definitely be back!
This was our first of many visits to the Hatchery. I had the seafood pasta and my husband had the bourbon glazed pork ribeye. Both were amazing. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. The only thing we were disappointed in was that we didn't come sooner.Food: 5/5
Went to enjoy an nice early New Years dinner on Friday 12/30. Clearly our waitress was new and spilled an entire cocktail drink shaker on my wife and my ribeye steak was terrible. The staff seemed confused all evening. Overall the evening was not an enjoyable experience. We had previously visited the Hatchery in November with another couple and the meal was fantastic, so this was to say the least an unexpected disappointment.
Best restaurant in Steuben County hands down, nothing even close!!! Riley was our server and did an amazing job! I had the filet that was cooked to perfection, and my wife had the bourbon glazed pork ribeye that was unbelievable! It is pricey but you get what you pay for!!! Good food isn't cheap, cheap food isn't good. Top notch service, top notch staff, top notch quality of food!! I've eaten at restaurants all over the country and this place is in my top 10. Me and my wife can't wait to go back.
Started out with stuffed mushroom caps they were very good. Had the ribeye with asparagus it was delicious. Service was good. They could give you more vegetables with your meal. Four little pieces of asparagus. Over all it was good.
The scallops and sweet potato fries are a surprisingly good complement. The raspberry sauce was unique but very good. The fries were perfectly crispy. The scallops were good but the bacon was overdone. Only complaint. The surf and turf was good the sirloin was tender and well flavored. Lobster I’d had before was tough. This was more shrimp textured. Very good. The homemade cocktail sauce is a tad spicy, but the heat isn’t too strong. Very good. Would go again.
