DO NOT Purchase any food or drink from this store especially milk! They are selling milk that's a week past its expiration date. I wasn’t lucky enough that I didn’t even notice the label and used it as usual. Whenever I returned the item to the store, the staff acted like nothing wrong with it and refund me that $3 without even an apology. Already filed and reported it to the government, hope they are going to inspect hard on this store before people keep suffering.
I have been a regular client for the past 3-4 years at this pharmacy, never had any issue until today, 20th of October 2020 6:30pm. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED by this young man called Maxim, Assistant Gerant. He was extremely rude, arrogant and disrespectful! I wanted to return some perfumes brand new/ untouched and unopened that i had bought the week before. He told me that he couldn't take them because they were final sale! It is nowhere indicated Final Sale!!! The Jean Coutu return policy- Return or exchange within 30 days. Maxim's response was "If I don't give you a refund, would you take the money out of my cash register?" In another word, he treated me like a thief. Very unprofessional, poor and disappointing customer service.
I usually go to this JC because it's close to my place and helps a lot, but waiting there half an hour to receive your medicines after seeing people that just got there receiving theirs is just annoying. Listening to the woman in the from saying "sorry for the wait, but this is a pharmacy" after seeing her leaving twice to pick up a call on what I guessed is a personal call is just enough. This is not the first time this happens but it would be the last visit I will give this place, if you need more time to prepare, just be polite and say it before leave customers waiting, it's one of the bases of customer service. And if you feel this review is too personal, just wait until it happens to you or someone you know.

Everytime i went there it was pretty nice. Nice cosmetics section . I went to the prescription counter only once and the pharmacist was helpful when i had a lot of questions and insecurity.
One of the female pharmacist is extremely rude and simply wants to give the fastest service disregarding whether there are people in line or not. And once she missed key information about the medication that I was prescribed. The only reason I go to this pharmacy is that it’s close. But finally I have decided to never purchase any medication from this location especially that there are plenty of other pharmacies in the neighborhood.
Been here multiple times with lots of issues at the pharmacy, too many and too detailed to write here, tonight I went with a severe asthma attack asking if I had any refills on my ventalin, and they told me that I had some for my Bricanyl but not ventalin, but they can see my ventalin in the file. For those who don't know, bricanyl and ventalin treat the same issue, sometimes however my bricanyl stops working doesn't fix my breathing and I have to go to the hospital and they give me a ventalin mask Approx 3-4 times per year. I asked if I could buy a ventalin just to avoid having to wait in the ER ALL NIGHT just to be given a 15 minute treatment of a medication they have behind the counter AND can see that I regularly take. On top of that, going to the hospital means missing work in the morning and at the moment I can't afford to miss a day. Pharmacists refused. All of us are aware that pharmacists regularly give out prescriptions to people in emergencies without one, and that wasnt even the issue here since they can see I have ventalin and bricanyl prescriptions dating back several years. I could have easily had my doctor phone it-in during the next day, but at this moment, my only two options were the pharmacy or 12-24 hours at the ER. She said something about it being illegal for me to leave with medication, I offered to GO HOME and get my aerochamber, come back, buy the ventalin and pay full price, use it infront of the pharmacist, and let them keep it, leave, and the next day I'd have my doctor phone in a new prescription and id come back to buy the new one again, so I'd essentially be buying the first ventalin just to take a few puffs out of it to prevent me from losing money at work and sitting in the ER all night, in addition to my very APPARENT wheezing that made me sound like Darth Vader with a megaphone. Still denied. Dreadful service and both pharmacists should be ashamed of themselves. I'll never spend another dollar at any Jean Coutu. A few months ago I was also denied an Ativan prescription because they said they couldn't read the doctors writing for the dosage but understood what the medication was. I told them it was for my anxiety, and I showed them a previous prescription in my file and verified the dosage since I know my own medication, but because I'm covered in tattoos I guess I'm a junkie and was asked to go get the prescription rewritten. When I asked if they could call the doctor, they told me they would get around to it maybe in 2-3 days. When I explained it's to prevent me from having an anxiety attack or something and I couldn't wait that long, they told me to go to the hospital if I was so concerned. Hello? You said you don't know the dosage, and I told you the dosage. And it's already in my file? After speaking to the manager on the phone after leaving, and going back in person, they finally decided to call the doctor and confirmed the prescription. Absolutely disgraceful behavior on all parts. *update* I'm back from the ER, since I had no other choice. The doctors were both surprised and upset to learn that the pharmacy wouldn't give me a ventalin. My breathing was so severely bad that I was actually seen in under an hour and the nurse asked me which jean coutu it was. Hopefully they'll call them and tell them to treat people better, or at the very least, like human beings. They also gave me a ventalin to take home. I still find it crazy that the ER thought I needed IMMEDIATE attention, and BOTH pharmacists tall blonde lady / small asian lady, thought I was fine to continue my day. Soulless people. I even tried going to the pharmacy first because I didn't want to waste the time of the doctors since I know how to treat my own asthma.
The lady pharmacist doesn’t give a courteous service. As well as her staff, they are rude, unhelpful and they lack knowledge. Overall bad customer service.
Was missing passport photos, called and asked If they did these photos. Arrived and had photos taken. Was in and out in 5 minutes. Wonderful helpful staff Merci Beaucoup!!
Very bad service at the pharmacy. Asian female pharmacist is very rude and judgemental. Edit: By multiple experience and bad reviews on the pharmacist and blonde pharmacist assistant I hope they get the clue they need to change their horrible client services.
