Our family tried this place for the first time, and we all quite liked our food. Best described as Italian fast food. You choose what you want from the menu boards, order at the cash, pay, and then your food is brought to your table. Prices are the same as a sit down restaurant, so don't expect a meal for $10. Lots of seating available. A nice casual place to eat. I believe the employee at the cash was Derek, and he gets a rating of 300 out of 100. Fun to talk to, efficient, friendly, and willing to help in any way. I wish that all front line staff were like him. You want to go back for the food, but also hope that he would be working that day. The pictures attached reflect the current menu and prices as of October 16, 2022.
Casual place where you order ahead at the counter. Offers good, fresh Italian food at friendly prices. Only miss was the Caesar salad which was too salty. So that was relatively untouched. Otherwise, pizza and pasta were great.
I walked in and I ordered the Gnocchi Gorgonzola. I waited at the table for my order. Then, after 10-15 minutes they delivered my food to takeaway. I ate this meal for the first time. It was delicious! The service was quick! The cashier was very friendly and it wasn’t busy at the time.
This Italian restaurant is easily, one of my most favorite in Ottawa, we stumbled on it while searching for a place that offers wood fired pizza, this was the only location we could find around the Kanata area, so we decided to give it a try. And oh boy they didn’t disappoint, the staff is amazing, very friendly and welcoming. Your food will be ready in no time, it took 8mins to prepare my margarita. Once I got to the car I opened it to smell it, once it was opened I couldn’t resist to serve myself a slice of the pizza on the spot. Amazing, definitely worth to give a try to this place
I really wish I could give this place a 5.. Because every time I've dined in, everything has been delicious. But when you offer takeout, that has to be just as good as dine in, and it's unfortunately not. This is my second time trying take out, and same as the first time, the pasta is very dry. I really think they need to consider adding more sauce to takeout orders, so that it doesn't dry out by the time you get to eat it. Disappointing..
Great food and atmosphere! The lunch menu is a great deal, you get a pizza or pasta, side salad or donuts and the choice of pop or Italian soda seltzer water with a choice of syrup shots, BlackBerry was very delicious!. The pizza was very good, the type that is soft and folds well with gooey cheese and minimal grease. The donuts were served hot and fresh with chocolate syrup. The chicken parmesan sandwich was good but the chicken was not at all crunchy which is the only complaint. The only thing that was confusing was that the entrance and exit doors are not labeled so we went in the wrong door not knowing you had to order at a counter first then pick a seat. But it was great and I would recommend the pizza!
I found my pizza is overly cooked half way of my lunch. But when I request a 50% refund, the manager did a good job. So I’ll leave a 4/5 and I’m willing to visit the place again and see how it goes.
Was looking for a quick lunch spot near Kanata, and found Via Cibo. A very cozy vibe with welcoming staff. We decided to try The New Yorker pizza and it was very delicious. The ingredients were fresh and flavourful. There are special deals throughout the week for those who want to save some money too! Definitely coming back to try the whole menu!
I ordered 2 chicken alfredo from here via delivery. When it arrived I was surprised they didn't include any utensils like I requested. Not sure how I'm supposed to eat pasta without any but okay. Next was confusion about the pasta choice. Instead of linguini the traditional choice it was penne but okay. The Last thing was the real problem. It had absolutely no alfredo sauce, zero. It definitely tastes like butter and garlic. That's it. I don't know if this is common there but I am surprised it made it out of the kitchen. Both orders of one of my favorite dishes ended up being the equivalent of a college dinner of noodles with butter and maybe if you are lucky you can afford a little garlic or meat. I mean come on. What is this? How did it ever get out of the kitchen or how is this what a restaurant considers alfredo? Check out these pictures. If this is what they serve and it's not one of the most colossal mistakes in a restaurant trying to serve chicken alfredo? I don't know how they can consider themselves chefs. The main ingredient in alfredo pasta is the alfredo sauce. I've honestly had better when I was in college by adding parmesan, a little cream, pepper and margarine to pasta and to be honest that's what I think I'm going to do to this. It has basically no flavor right now and was a complete waste of money. I literally have to make my own sauce now for it. Basically very expensive pasta and butter. Don't order the chicken alfredo.
I'm not a fan of Cafeteria style dinning. Order your food Cafeteria style, seating is Cafeteria style... you have to be ok with sitting beside a stranger when the place is busy. Servers were nice and friendly. Pizza was very good, more authentic to traditional Italian, in my experiences. Pasta was flavorless and sauce was watery. Music was a bit loud in the restaurant. Go for the pizza, take-out is best.
