Shawarma Shish

Best Shawarma we've had in the West End of Ottawa. Very fresh veggies, perfectly cooked potatoes, lovely garlic sauce not too greasy! and the falafel didn't taste as though it was a week old which is common at other places. Also the staff were very kind. All in all, our new favorite. We'll be back soon.

I really liked the donair sandwich and the chicken shawarma. Tasty and well priced. I guess the one thing it lacks is atmosphere, which I never care about. The staff were friendly and charming though.

First time customers this week, new to the area, and we were so impressed! Their family platter is far more reasonably priced than our previous fave place and the food was perfect. Friendly and fast service and the restaurant was very clean and well maintained. Will definitely make this a regular spot!

Today I went to Shawarma Shish and bought a mixed shawarma plate and was looking forward to a good meal, I was their 2 days ago and the owner made me a shawarma sandwhich which was filled with lots i of tasty meat and fresh veggies and it was very good and he was extremely courteous and friendly so decided to return today and give it another go . Unfortunately I was very unhappy with my shawarma plate today. It did have lots of rice, chicken, beef, and potatoes and of course it has the salad and hummus and garlic...but it had absolutely ZERO toppings besides 1 pickle slice and a pice kf turnip. everywhere else provides, Tomatoes, onions, hot peppers, pickles, turnips etc So I basically had to make sandwiches with bread meat and no other toppings which made every sandwich plain and dry. I would of been long time returning cutomer if I had got toppings...Unfortunately I will not return. That being said the meat was tasty, the portion size was decent...I was just super disappointed to get home and have nothing to put on my shawarma even tho I asked for all the toppings. It's like having a burger without any toppings just bread and meat. You need toppings!!!

Very nice and respectful staff. And was very satisfied with their food. Everything was clean and organized. Definitely my new shawarma spot. Best in the bells corners area.

Really happy to have found this place! The staff are very knowledgeable about the food which is great if you have allergies if you're allergic to egg or dairy this is the place for you! Nice staff, great food, big portions, Dietary restrictions: Everything is dairy free and egg free except the garlic sauce which has eggs. They are very good at helping with other allergens as well.

Today I bought Family meal supposed to be for 4 persons $32.99+tax request was only chicken with potatoes.. see what I got!!! Don't ask for the taste!! We had to re-cook the chicken at home and add needed spices.. so frustrated to get quantity can be good for sandwich not for family meal.. won't recommend it

Typically I wouldn’t take time out of my day to leave a review but I just had Shawarma shish an it hit nicely, it’s the friendly service and great name that keep me coming back. They don’t even have to ask what I’m ordering they just know. It’s also really nice to see they carry the often neglected canned orange Fanta as it just doesn’t get as cold when it’s bottled. Keep up the good work!!

Ordered through uber eats and God what a waste of money. I ordered a chicken shawarma platter and the chicken has no flavour whatsoever and is really dry. I also stated no turnips but I got a lot of turnips. Only the salad tasted good.
