I am a hardworking psw. And our free service is the best the government can do. Every service has good and bad but I stand by our psws they are out there doing what family members wont.
This company is inadequate and has no real touch on what the community needs. I will never suggest Vha to any of my family or friends. I respect the nurses and the care workers. I feel like the office and the “higher” people don’t know what they are doing. I am disgusted.
Too many workers in the office not enough in the field. The office seems to have very little grasp on how things work in practice outside the office. I thought & expected more from them & was disappiinted to be wrong.
They are not willing to spend money on a computer program to schedule their clients. As a result you have PSWs show up at hours that their clients are not available. While the PSWs are professional any suggestions that they make to this company to improve the service falls on deaf ears.
Bluntly terrible services... they make you more sick than recovering
