I worked at SRT for 6 great years, I enjoyed being the Receptionist there! I met the best PSWs and Nurses in the business!! The managers have an intelligent, responsible open door policy which I found refreshing. If I had an issue I knew I could talk to any one of the managers. I have been gone for nearly a month now and I miss working there. I had fun and what an experience working through the pandemic, I was never out of work which was a big PLUS. I moved out of the city otherwise I would still be working there. Lots of Love, hugs and the best for the future of the company. Rose
My mum has been receiving care now for 2 weeks, and all Staff have been incredible with regards to their service decency and their detail to work. Andrea and Carol are 2 of the PSW that have been sent, and if they are an indication of who will be assisting her, she is in great hands. Thank you so much.
Today, for the first time, we received the services of Dorothy, PSW. She was fantastic. There are not enough words to express our gratitude for the excellent way she completed her care tasks. Top-notch. She is valued and appreciated. Thank you.
Where do I start? Covid situation is their great excuse for their short-staff. Always will try to defend their staff based on our complaint. Can count their staff, who know how to do the pull-ups or diaper. My mom’s diaper will get wet in few minutes. LHIN is paying SRT or SRT is paying LHIN. LHIN is also will just listen to SRT’s rubbish and tell us the story. Some co-ordinator even tell us to find a different agency. Many rude co-ordinators, to be particular LISA is the rudest and worst coordinator with full of attitude and neglect. Never ready to listen. The best PSW we ever had, NATASHA SINGH. No PSW was like her. Really wish all the PSWs’ are doing their job just like Natasha. Some psw not even ready to correct the mistakes of ever mention it. So after trying everything, have talked to MPP . Hoping that they willl do something. Note : After I wrote my review SRT have copy paste their usual response. Funniest agency ever.
I am a Personal Support Worker employed by SRT. I am a PSW that went to the home of one of the people complaining in this review section. It needs to be known that when I went to your home I did the very best that I could to help you. I was kind & did exactly what you needed me to do. There are certain things a PSW cannot do! We are not nurses!! The time that I arrived was confirmed & approved by you! I asked you if there was anything else that I could help you with before I go as I always do! This was a 45 minute visit & I stayed the 45 minutes. SRT has many, many PSW’s that want to help our clients, we want to do the best we can because we actually do care. The problem here is NOT with SRT or the PSW’s. We are human as well & trying to help our clients while dealing with burn out & overwhelming stress. We need to be KIND TO EACH OTHER!!!!!!
When you call they put you on hold and let you wait for up to 20 minutes. Then they give you a song and a dance why nobody was scheduled. They are always short of staffing. I don't need to hear their issues. Why is this Agency still in business. Who do they answer to. It sounds like a crew of coordinators who don't answer to any one. There must be a manager they should answer to. Who runs this business. Sounds like nobody. When my wife was put in palative care from St. Joseph hospital they make it sound so good and everything will be ok. The patient is to have the best of care. MAKE HER COMFORTABLE THEY SAY. WHAT A CROCK OF ####. One day it may be your loved one. BE CAREFUL. Following up on other reviews I have the same issues. Poor service and lack of service. How can they cash their paychecks. How do you get paid for doing nothing. And to top this off nobody will get back to me .
My 85 year old mother has been looked after for the past 3 years by an SRT angel named Lenora. I can't say enough about Lenora's commitment to my mum's care and dignity. What a beautiful decent and gentle human being she is. Thank you for all you do for Ma Kind regards, Brian
Poor service and they always change regular psw to my wife sometimes my wife doesn’t get morning service although she got regular which they always pull out leaving my disabled wife no service in the morning they always false alibi sometimes psw is willing to work but they don’t give them work which is not right while others have so much hours I hope the owners can check what is going on to provide proper service care.
I have recently changed my review on SRT as they were prompt in sorting out a PSW for my Dad. We had on going problems with the current PSW, as she has not been consistent at all throughout the months working with my Dad, ever since my Dad's main PSW had fallen ill. However, I am very satisfied with SRT med staff as they were quick to respond to this problem and deal with it professionally. I do hope that they would continue to do this long term. Sending out a huge thank you to the staff for not overseeing this and working things out swiftly!
The S R T. Med. Staff do not listen to their clients needs and do not send any PSW worker out when your in despered needs. They send someone that is very ruff with with they dont have any repect they come in and rush out they get payed for that. This year the SRT are are really poorly this year pear to three year agono compasion what so ever
