Veterinary Centre Laval

My dog was limping so I rushed him to this 24 hour emergency hospital and it was a huge mistake. Firstly, the Vet. Tells me that my dog is too nervous thus they need to take him to another room without me. Against my better judgement I agree. After that the VET tells me they needed to inject him with two morphine shots to properly examine him. (Same experience happened to others which I didn't know). Was charged twice. Then the VET kept pushing for more tests but all I wanted to know is his leg broken. He had a sprain and I bet they new that from the beginning. They don't care about your pets They ARE not VETS but only salesman. I will never ever go back there again I guess the high cost to maintain that hospital thus poor pet owners who love there pets get sucked in to do unnecessary tests!!! Shame on you.

Really bad experience and they are so expensive. My dog was very sick. Never suggested to make x-rays. Always supported that he had a back hernia when he had a mass on his lung. Had to put him down. Staff looks fake and only want your money. Very bad place to go. Would NEVER recommend it not even to my worse enemy. Go somewhere else and don't even think of going there. Charges way more than other vets. My dog would probably be alive today if I didn't go and see them. Don't go there !!!!

Truly horrible clinic. I have confirmed with Ordre des médecins vétérinaires du Québec that the clinic forces you to pay for treatments that they claim are mandatory by the Order, but they are not. The Technicians that work at this client are arrogant, rude and lazy. When you call to get info for your pet you get spoken to with much rudeness and disrespect. There are horror stories of animal mistreatment at this clinic. I would not recommend to anyone who loves their animal. And if you're an anglophone, you will be mistreated even more..... You want proof? Just examine the responses from the owner on the other negative google reviews....no apologies just excuses. All they want is your money people! They prey on the goodwill of caring pet lovers to get you to spend more and more money on unecessary treatement. They believe they are so big that they don't have any honor or integrity to follow the code of conduct of the Order of their profession.

They only care about the money told me they could operate on my cat to remove his tumor but that it would cost over 2000$ we were able to get the small tumor removed for 135$ by our vet! They charged us 800 for a consult and biopsy wich is more the double the rate other places charge. Trully disgusted I hope this will help people stay from this place or at the very least always get a second opinion elsewhere.
