The Venango VNA Foundation is a nonprofit corporation whose sole purpose is to generate funding to support the charitable care and services provided by the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County.

Services offered by the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County:
VNA Hospice has been serving our Community for nearly 20 years. Venango VNA Hospice offers a variety of different disciplines that families may utilize to help our patients and their families with end of life care. We offer Nursing Staff who are available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week if you or loved ones have any needs, questions or concerns. We also provide a home health aide, medical social worker, chaplain or volunteer, our team works together to provide medical, emotional, and spiritual care and support to our patients and their families.
Venango County VNA, not only offers a multidisciplinary approach for patients in the community; we offer expertise from the nursing staff that includes cardiac, diabetes, stroke prevention, mental health, wound care, well baby care, Telehealth monitoring, and health teaching. The nurses work closely with the physicians and other disciplines such as therapists, social workers, and home health aides.
The VNA Venango Private Duty offers the following services:
• Assistance with Personal Care: Bathing, dressing, grooming
• Assistance with Nutrition: Meal preparation, supervision and assistance with meals, grocery shopping
• Assistance with Mobility: Range of motion exercises, supervising ambulation, transfers to chair or bed
• Assistance with Elimination: Toileting, monitoring
• Assistance with Medication: Remind client to take medications. Home Attendants are not permitted to handle or administer medications
• Assistance with Safety Management: Supervision of ADL’s and companionship to ensure personal safety
• Assistance with Environmental Management: Light housekeeping, laundry, errands
