Ordered the Velos pizza for takeout, delicious! The resto was so cute too, was very tempted to stay just because of how nice it was inside. The owners I'm assuming were super nice! Great experience and will definitely be back
Finally tried their pizza, it was great! We ordered the “Velo,” which was all dressed with smoked meat. The sauce was indeed tasty, thick cheese, generous smoked meat, and nice crust. It wasn’t busy we were there around 6:45pm on Thursday, and the pizza was ready to serve in 15-20 minutes; had a quiet enjoyable dinner! Will for sure come back for more other flavours!
They actually have amazing smoke meat, the sandwich was great. Poutine was definitely microwaved, it was big but not good. This place needs a revamp, they need to start anew with that smoked meat as the focus!!
Really impressed with their pizza overall. Ingredients were fresh and delicious, though the steak on the meat lovers pizza was a little bland. It took a little while for delivery, and it wasn’t cheap, but it was honestly worth the wait and price. The sauce and dough is superb, and the pizzas came with generous amounts of quality cheese and bacon.
First pizza I ever had and still ordering there 40 years later.
Best Filet Mignon brochette I've had in many many years. Pita Plate was 10/10 also as the pizza! Very nice owners! Honest price! New reference for me in Valois Village :
Ordered pizza for delivery, took over an hour to arrive. Started eating only to find that the pizza had a horrible aftertaste. Don't know how to describe it but it tasted dirty/smokey as if the bacon was cooked in old oil or in a dirty pan. Really disappointed.
I just love their pizza ,one of the best in the west island .The couple that runs it has been doing so since the early 70's . they make pizza the old school way .
Didn't use fresh ingredients. Ordered two pizzas with only 2 toppings... it was extremely soggy. Refused to eat it after only two bites. Had bad after taste. Threw it out in the garbage. Won't order from there anymore.
Band-aid in pizza .. Went for pickup, woman at counter was not very polite when we asked about our order we had ordered 30 minutes prior. Got home with pizza 50 minutes after ordering, opened it up, and there was a bloodied Band-aid in the slice. Only two people, who I assume are the owners working there. Luckily we found it in the first slice and not the last. Did not bother to call back / demand refund, just taking it as a 28$ lesson in never ordering from Velos again.
