"Vegetarian Indian restaurant with fusion Indian street food in Mississauga, Brampton and Etobicoke area in Peel region which you may not find anywhere as we created them with our love and passion for food. We serve Indian food with western touch as well as typical indian street food dishes with added flavours from two locations, one in Mississauga and one in Vaughan. Indian style poutine, noodle burger, samosa burger, naanza are few of the most loved Indian street food items on the menu. We also serve typical indian drink options like falooda, cold cocoa as well as Indian tea!"

Their burgers are to die for! Living in the US, I didn’t get to eat the veggie burgers that I used to enjoy in India. It’s rare to find a potato patty burger in the states, we mostly get the veggie bean or impossible patty there. So, whenever I visit Toronto I make sure to satisfy my Indian taste buds by ordering fusion Indian food. Had their veggie and noodle burgers, and both were lip-smacking-finger-licking delicious! We also tried their pav bhaji and veg pizza, I’d say those items were not bad either but I’ve had better. This place also serves a chaat pizza in case you’re in mood for some adventure. Overall, this place is a must try. I’d go back for the burgers for sure!
We read good Google reviews and decided to give the Veggie Planet restaurant a try. The restaurant offers vegetarian and vegan options. Parking is plentiful and free. Free Wi-Fi. The inside of the restaurant definitely needs updating and cleaning; not that's its totally disgusting but just needs a good clean. When you enter the restaurant the menu is posted on a wall that is easily read but it does not have any explanation below each menu item which makes you wonder what's it made out of. I think by offering a few words underneath each item giving an explanation as to what it is would definitely help people who are not of East Indian descent. The washroom there is only one shared washroom itself was not totally clean but again not totally disgusting; which is similar to the inside decor of the restaurant. Food: we love the fact that there is the option of having your food fried or baked. The Indian Samosa is a definite five star! It was delicious and the chutney sauce that accompanied it was excellent. The Vada Burger and Kachori Burger were absolutely awesome and is something we would definitely order again. We love the fact that the burgers came loaded with lettuce onions cucumbers tomatoes in other words it was extremely flavourful, better than any other fast food restaurant. We ordered two sides, one potato wedges and onion rings. The potato wedges were very well seasoned and crispy and is a definite 5-star side dish. The onion rings however lacked flavour and crunch; we were quite surprised that you only get 6 small onion rings. We only give this 2 stars and would definitely not order the onion rings again. Although there are signs posted throughout the restaurant for customers to clean up their table, not all customers are respectful and this unfortunately leaves several tables dirty. Staff need to pay better attention to cleaning tables and chairs as there were several dirty tables and chairs upon our arrival. The Basil Pesto Naanza is fantastic! The crust is thin and crispy, vegatables, broccoli peppers olives and feta cheese make it taste extremely velvety and creamy. This is a definite 5-star dish. The Schezwan Naanza is equally fantastic with an added zing of spice! The red peppers green peppers broccoli green onions black olives and mushrooms make this a definite 5-star dish. While we were there, several East Indian families came into this restaurant which makes us think it's definitely an authentic East Indian food restaurant. So the real question is, would we return? The answer is a definite yes! We do hope the owners do a cleaning but it's the food that we were definitely impressed with
We visited Veggie Planet almost 2 yrs ago and gave a visit today as were nearby. It is still one the best places to eat. We had Schezwan Vadapav and Chana Naan both were ultra yum. The green chutney served with vadapav was so refreshing that I had to ask for more. Do give this restaurant a visit if you are a vegetarian and want to try some food with a little twist. The staff was very hospitable. Great job guys!! Please maintain the flavour and freshness :
Authentic Indian food on a budget. The place is highly recommended with the naanza on the top of my list of try’s. Also try their vadapav which is authentic and great value for money. The service is brilliant and though the place is small, it’s an excellent place for food throughout the day.
Saw this veggie place near by when I was in Mississauga area. Food is good and they have limited but pretty good options in menu. Liked the veggie pizza and it was fabulous. Pani poori was not so bad but it was okay . Have had better than that. Had pav bhaji it's one of the top 3 in Toronto, I can say. Dabeli was crunchy and delicious. Masala chai is also something that you can try. It's a self serve place, you should cleanup after you. Overall a very good place for vegetarians.
I visited them multiple times. There food is really good and fresh. If anyone likes Indian fast food this is the best place to visit. The most important thing to try there is chaat pizza. Its the best thing of this place. They also provide swaminarayan version of food. I tried samosa chaat, chaat pizza, noodle burger, kachori burger, vada burger. In chat pizza they mix some vegetables with some masala and on top of that they put curd and plain sev. It tastes so delicious. Samosa chat was also good. Noodle burger was okay. I mean its edible. Kachro burger and vada burger was also good. So overall food was good. It’s really worth trying.
The noodle burger and dahi puri are must-tries. The customer service is also excellent. The staff is fantastic at managing all of the orders, and the place is lovely. For presentable and fresh meals, this is a must.
A decent place to go if you're looking for vada pav or chaat. Their samosa chaat is really good and I'm not typically a fan of chaat Vada pav was great, wished it was spicier. Will go for the Indian spicy level
Went for dinner after a friend's recommendation, but very much disappointed . Ordered Pav bhaiji, Dahi puri, noodle burger and tawa biriyani. Only pav bhaji was decent but bread was so thin. Dahi puris were so tiny and it was just dahi and puri with no suace, puri were so tiny that you can stuff 3 puris in one go without opening your mouth wide. Noodle burger was so soggy that water was dripping from the bun, noodle inside tasted pathetic. Tawa biriyani quantity was so less, they added raw vegetables without cooking and tasted terrible.. they charge premium price for every item. Paid ~$45 for these items and not enough for 2 adults and a kid, we left home hungry. There is no proper aeration inside and could smell bad oil that didn't go away even after coming home. Please avoid this restaurant as they have shrunk the quantity and hiked the price. Update after owner's comment: I don't agree with owner's comment, other restaurants make better food, my reviews are always honest and if someone serves good food, I praise them. Every item you served had scope for improvement. Noodle burger was so soggy that we had to throw the bread as it was completely soaked, almost became a paste, people buy it due to its fancy name and there are opportunities to make better burger. Tawa biriyani had uncooked vegetables and photos attached here, tasted so pathetic, I request the owner to taste their own biriyani and compare with other restaurants, owner refuses to accept the improvements suggested, rather very argumentative.
Went there based on reviews and was not disappointed at all. Ordered Dahi puri the best of what we ordered, pav Bhaji slightly runny bhaaji - but tastes good , pulao along with masala soda. Food came out pretty quickly except for the pulao which was to be expected. Overall the service was quick and efficient.
