Vegan Shoku Japanese Restaurant

I never thought vegan food could taste this good, and it was almost better than some real sushi places I've been to. The dessert was also delicious and attractively plated.I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try out vegan food or sushi.

This place just opened not too long ago. About 3 weeks. The specialty rolls were amazing and the presentation was beautiful. The oshi rolls were delicious! Service was great as well. Would recommend!Food: 5/5

Great food and great services! The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious and “beautiful”. For those who don’t eat onions and garlics, they can easily remove those ingredients. Highly recommend.

Sushi should be as foreign as it possibly can for my palate and despite all that unfamiliarity with the cuisine I loved their offerings - their spread as well as their presentation and the overall quality. The staff is super polite and friendly. Overall, an amazing experience. Kerrisdale becomes a little more cool than it already is with a Japanese Vegan joint. I would recommend this place 100%.

So good that I went twice in two days!! Obsessed with the crab oishi. The rolls, gyoza & tempura were all delicious, too! Wonderfully kind waitstaff and perfect environment for a long dinner with friends.

Absolutely delicious and so lovely little restaurant. They even have a 'private party' room at the back. All vegan/plant-based, sustainable, cruelty-free and so fresh and tasty! Beautifully presented plates of incredible , creative sushi. Highly recommended for vegans, non vegans..for everyone! The owners, a husband and wife, are a truly lovely couple so dedicated to their craft. It will become one of your favorite restaurants! Vegetarian options: VEGAN. 100% vegan , which is great. Vegan is vegetarian, but BETTER. No eggs or dairy here. Thank goodness. Please...just go...try the food. You'll be impressed and satisfied and delighted. Kid-friendliness: All are welcome in this lovely spot. Dietary restrictions: Their menu is vegan, not just vegetarian. SO no one will need to worry about egg or dairy allergies either. This place is PERFECT.

The customer service and staff are very good. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of choices. The food is tasty and served in good portion sizes. I highly recommend this place.
