Cute vegan and gluten free bakery in Mont Royal. Both the chocolate eclair and tart were really good. Not too sweet. The prices are quite high for the size of the items but I guess that's normal for French pastry

Delicious vegan tartelettes and cupcakes . I have to admit that I did find the tartelettes tastier than the cupcakes. The cupcakes can be really sweet but it’s mostly from the coconut icing. The lemon tart was my favourite but the chocolate one was a close second. The brownie was also great! Their hot chocolate is super dense. It has a nice flavour, not too sweet but one cup was a bit much. My suggestion is to split it with someone if you are going to order one. In terms of sitting, the place is quite small. Only 3 tables, so maybe don’t expect to have a table. Service is great and friendly.

I haven't tried a ton of vegan pastries yet in my life, but the cupcakes here were pretty good! They did feel rather firm and on the drier side though, but the melted chocolate inside balanced that out! I didn't enjoy the matcha cookie as much, it was a bit too sweet to my taste!

Stopped here for an afternoon treat. Staff are friendly & even with their limited English, they try to answer any questions you have, as we heard them try to answer questions from another group of people. The flavour of the Paris Brest eclair were good and not too sweet. The iced coffee was good and they even have a choice of alternative milks! The coffee had a great roasty flavour to it. Partner liked his matcha affogato, the matcha was able to off set the strong coconut flavour in the soft serve. Would love to try their other goodies next time!

Cupcakes are incredible. They are a little dense due to being gluten free but they don't feel heavy. The frosting is a coconut based whip and you can taste the coconut cream through the flavour. The staff is very friendly and will help you get your perfect mix.

Gluten free AND vegan??? Yes please! It's so hard finding desserts for family get togethers when there are 2 who are lactose intolerant and 1 with celiac's. Imagine my delight discovering Vegâteau! There are so many options from cakes, tartlets, and cookies. Super easy online ordering. I ordered the cookies n'cream birthday cake and yes, it was dairy free. I think it was the best dairy free gluten free cake we've ever had. It tasted like real cake lots of gluten free desserts have a weird texture and wasn't overwhelming with coconut. I saw the matcha cookies special of the day when I went to pick up the cake and couldn't resist. Yummy The staff were lovely.

this place is just out of this world… if you love dessert and you are vegan… this is heaven on earth… amazing options… incredible flavors… please don’t miss the chance.

My favourite cupcake place in Montreal. I’m usually not a fan of vegan desserts, but the cup cakes here are just so good! Service is good and the price is very reasonable too given the quality. Will definitely come again.

This was incredible. Truly some of the best patisserie I've had in years, vegan or otherwise. I had the Paris-Brest, coffee eclair, and chocolate tart. Each one was fantastic, not overly sweet, amazing texture and intense flavor. Places like Vegâteau are doing something really special—it's taking a creative approaches to traditional patisserie and making something absolutely delicious. If this place were in my city, I'd be there all the time. Absolutely worth a visit for anyone who loves French pastry; I'm just disappointed I didn't get to try more.

We ordered our wedding cake at Vegateau and it was not only gorgeous but delicious! The decoration on the cake was made with edible flowers. I highly recommend! Thank you!
