I wish every bakery make their none gluten free pastry as well as PSG! Not only does it not taste like gluten free, it tastes better than a lot of the regular pastries I’ve tried. We’re here for the holiday from NY, and have been trying gluten free bakery around Montreal, this is honestly the best one I’ve tried even tho it doesn’t have as many review as the other. My favorite is that they offer great savory options on top of the usually sweet desserts. It’s so easy to find sweet gluten free desserts, but savory item is hard to find even in different part of the world! The chicken pizza turnover is so so so good, so meaty, the dense but flakey crust, saucy, we didn’t even need to heat it up the day after and it still taste delicious! Strawberry cream pastry is phenomenal too!! Kind of wish I live in Montreal so I can visit more often, especially they have new items even just in 2 days! Yes I came back after 2 days because it’s that good Service could be a little bit better, but it’s so so so worth it!
Good products, and huge empanadas Seriously - they are massive. Croissants are the best option here. We had croissants, pain au chocolat, empanadas spinach & potato, Chicken & pizza sauce. By far the croissants are the lightest the least butter and better options. Empanadas fillings were not great, but they are fine. They are so big its hard to finish one by yourself. Pain au chocolat is ok - and heavy on the stomach. Great to see a full bakery dedicated to gluten free! Amazing work.
Best gluten-free croissants in the entire world. How is it possible to make such a light and layered and scrumptious croissant that is gluten-free!? I kept saying aloud to no-one in particular, "This is too good to be true"!! I've been gluten-free for 10+ years and have longed to eat a croissant again. This is off the chain! Highly, highly, highly recommend. P.S. I told my husband not to talk to me while I ate it so as not to distract me from the pure delight of this delicious treat.
This is the best gluten-free bakery I have ever been too!!! The croissants are so light, flaky and layered! I wish I lived in Montreal! Everything is fantastic. Run don't walk to this wonderful place. If you aren't in Quebec definitely buy a plane ticket now and plan your holiday around this lovely place.
i had the chocolate amandine croissant and omg it is exactly what my gf dreams were made of - flaky, not too sweet, buttery, and warm. the owners are kind and welcoming, and despite the pandemic created a space for me to eat and enjoy my food inside. the americano was also incredible, but the croissant omgggggg. go, go, go! EDITED to add: I have since been to Parc Sans Gluten two times in the afternoon. I believe the owners are brothers. The one who has been there in the afternoon is pretty rude - he is resistant to warming pastries in the oven, and he has been chatting on the phone both times that I entered. Both times he did not acknowledge my entrance in any way until his conversation had come to an end - even if that meant me waiting there awkwardly for 5+ minutes. The last time, I asked in both english and french to have my pastry warmed in the oven. He acted as if he didn't understand what I was talking about. Finally, my boyfriend stepped in and asked for the pastry to be warmed in the oven in Arabic my boyfriend is Lebanese, and he believes the owners are aswell, based on their accent. The man then reluctantly made the effort to put the pastry in the oven. Despite his lackluster customer service skills, we made a big purchase I have celiac disease - a bag of frozen chocalatines, a pizza crust, a savory pie, an eclair, and a miniature cake. Concerningly, the eclair that was sold to us came from the pastry display, but was frozen all the way through. This suggests that the pastry was not fresh, but was frozen from a previous slow day. Even my boyfriend, who is not the most emotionally aware person, felt unwelcome. The pastries at Parc Sans Gluten ARE delicious. And I was treated there kindly one time. However, the man who staffs PSG in the afternoon is rude, unwelcoming, and intimidating.
I have gone here several times. They do a great job on making croissants, pastries etc that are gluten free and delish. You wouldn't be able to tell that they aren't wheat. Big selection. You can also buy frozen croissant to take home and bake yourself. I highly reccomand this place to others that cannot eat wheat. The owner is friendly and helpful.
Delicious gluten free croissants at a very reasonable price. My only complaint is that between the glaze and the filling, the eclairs are far too sweet. However, the quality of the pastry is very good.
Incredible bakery where you don't have to worry about gluten whatsoever. The owners were really kind people and their baking was amazing. We tried multiple pastries and it was all delicious especially the pain au chocolat
The lightest gluten-free croissant I’ve ever had. The empanadas are massive, prices seem reasonable for gf. Beautiful eclairs and desserts. Minimal breads, just large loaves both times we were there.
I highly recommend Parc Sans Gluten to everybody who misses good pastry. I was blown away by the quality of baked goods, and everything I ordered was served warm! What a treat! The baker is a magician!
