Went here to study Business Management Post-Degree Diploma. Great instructors but the problem is the students. 90% of the students in the program are from one country and a lot of them can't even speak and write decent english. It's also funny that some subjects even teach D.E.I. but there is no diversity. There is also no flexibility with your class schedule. You're stuck with the same people for 4 semesters.nnCafeteria and Bakery are amazing though.
I used to take a TESOL diploma course here taught by a woman by the name of Rita. I lent her a copy of my coursework for linguistics that she avoided in returning to me regardless of the emails I wrote to her and the TESOL department at VCC. I would not recommend attending the TESOL diploma course here based on my experiences listed above.
I hated this place!!!!!!!!!! the vending machines are scammers because they never work and security does nothing about it. im so upset right now but my saving grace was the lady at the bookstore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Came here for a day long workshop. The place is quite large - many rooms and active courses even on the weekends. The place is a bit dated but it’s clean for the number of students that have been at this facility over the years and decades. The views are amazing. The rooms upstairs are night business management area. I can’t comment on the teaching or teachers. However, I’d recommend to host a class here. The bus stops right in front. Waterfront is not far.
For years, I’ve held onto the secret of VCC Cafeteria, but it’s time to share the treasure. This place is the true gem of Vancouver. I want to personally commend the incredible culinary students and cashier staff who make this place shine. Since I was 12 I’m 24 now, VCC Cafeteria has never disappointed. For an unbeatable price, you get top-tier food and heartwarming smiles, all while supporting aspiring chefs in their educational journey. If you’re in the area, a visit is a must. Take the opportunity to enjoy great food and express gratitude to the students and staff who make this place extraordinary. A special shoutout to the older adults who work tirelessly behind the scenes, they contribute immensely to the charm of this place. VCC will always hold a special place in my heart, and I encourage more people to discover its magic.
