VC Cuevas Bakery

VC Cuevas is a small, artisan bakery that produces solid staples. I tried the fresh, hot pandesal and it was exactly as it should be. Slightly sweet, fluffy as a pillow, and for a reasonable price. The only complaint one might have is the lack of hospitality and feeling that one should get in, get their bread, and get out. No nonsense, no leisure. Although I didn't try their more creative offerings, I will likely return.

VC Cuevas has one of the best pandesal in Winnipeg. They have a variety of bread and ulam which I will say super delicious! A one stop shop for somebody hungry! Plus a bonus of super friendly staff!

I did not get a proper answer from the lady at the cash register on Sept 11. My pre-order for turon was not held. I called at noon, and pick-up was 6:30PM. I was early too. Update your hours if you don't serve 30 minutes before closing. I expected the food to be there and not be told that it was given out. I just wasted my time. I'd give zero stars if I could.

Best pandesal in the city in my opinion. Sweet , hot and soft. So delicious

I noticed this place has fresh Filipino food but there is no kitchen in which to cook it in. Just the bakery. So the food must be prepared elsewhere which is obviously a Health infraction in Winnipeg. Do the person/persons preparing this food have a Vendor licence and a Food Handlers Certificate?

Nothing beats freshly baked bread pandesal. They are open early, and the smell of freshly baked bread hits you especially when you come in the early morning. They have some filipino food too available. Honestly though, we just come here for the pandesal! Perfectly paired with coffee.

Went there for the first time with my sister and we will definitely be back. Fantastic customer service. They insisted on giving me fresh pandesal and gave us some turon for free and they were yummy! Palabok we bought was also delicious

I love their freshly baked Pandesal! Even when you are waiting in line the smell is just awesome. They have a wonderful and friendly staff. They not only have bread but they sell Banana fritters too.
