Van's Bar

Went there yesterday the 23rd of September. The service of just 1 bartender was the reson this didn't get a 5 star review. When we first walked in she didn't seem happy to be working and when she asked what we wanted to drink she only took 1 drink order at a time. Most bartenders take almost the whole groups order, but she would walk away before we ordered anything else. A may I say it was 2 beers, 1 miX drink and a soda, so it shouldn't have been too hard to remember. She also ignored half the bar while people in my group wanted to get more beers and she just ignored them. If she is new then I understand but if she isn't then idk if it was a bad day or bartending just is not her thing. Overall food we ordered was good and we had a good time.

The fried chicken was quite tasty and prepared quickly. Very reasonable price for both food and the drinks. Quiet atmosphere which was relaxing.

I'm not old enough to drink but I defiantly love the food they have there. Excellent, would recommend it for people to visit.

Nice neighborhood bar with good bar type food which is available until close.

We took a bus to a brewer game and stopped at Van's on the way home. We didn't have time to try the food but the drinks were good and reasonably priced. Staff and customers were also very friendly.
