Value Drug Mart

I absolutely love everyone I’ve come across at Value Drug Mart aside from the one pharmacist, Natalie. I can understand someone being straightforward and to the point but she comes across as very rude and dismissive of people’s concerns. I’m pregnant and have been suffering with a horrible cold and my midwife suggested I go speak to the pharmacist to see if there is anything I can take to help relieve my symptoms a bit. I explained my symptoms, I’d had a headache for 4 days, a terrible sore throat and a lot of sinus pressure and she rolled her eyes at me and said “so you have a head cold” and suggested a couple items to take, emphasizing not to take anything natural because they’re useless. Later that night I had to go into the hospital because of the pain and turned out I had an ear infection and a throat infection. I know she’s not a doctor and isn’t supposed to diagnose me but to immediately write my concerns off as a head cold was disheartening. I had also asked her previously if there was a safe laxative to take while breastfeeding and she told me I was ridiculous for thinking I needed a laxative post birth.

They have the friendliest staff ever. Highly recommend VDM.

You couldn't ask for a better pharmacy team. I love that I can go there and the pharmacists know my husband and me. They are caring, kind, and happy to help with all your questions, pharmacy needs and immunizations. The store staff are equally helpful and everyone is so pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend Value Drug Mart - Drayton Valley!

Super rude staff. Called in to check store and she said I have noway to check. You can come in store~~~~~~ and hang up on me. Ridiculous!!!

Very rude and not helpful at all from the pharmacy. My boyfriend is having problems with his medication and can’t get into his doctor so went to ask for some information on the medication he is on. The lady pharmacist was very disrespectful and refused any help.
