Story

Our staff provides outpatient physical therapy services for clients of all ages. They also provide school-based physical therapy services in conjunction with BLaST Intermediate Unit #17.

Our outpatient services include, but are not limited to strains and sprains, joint pain, joint replacement rehab, sports injuries, pain during pregnancy and/or postpartum period, neck pain, back pain, etc.

We welcome pediatric clients for outpatient services on land or in the pool!

Occupational therapy services and massage therapy services are no longer offered at our facility.

This allows our staff extra time to enjoy the summer weather with their families. Simply Excellent. Nick is very diligent and takes time to assess before prescribing the right solution. He explains everything as he goes along so you fully understand. My back ache which I had for three months was resolved within 5 sessions and he even helped me with a different muscle/rib injury during that time. I would thoroughly recommend as someone who will do all he can to help and will tell you straight away if he cannot. I will also add a thanks to Cilla lovely receptionist who will brighten your day as you walk through the door!
Valley Rehab is a small and friendly practice. Nick and the team are all very welcoming and the treatment is second to none. Matt is very knowledgeable and took good care of my frozen shoulder and provided a range of home motion 'exercise' to keep the arm as free as possible. Highly recommended
Couldn't recommend Valley Rehab enough! Nick was incredibly knowledgeable and explained every step of the process, with clear timeliness for a speedy recovery. After tearing my shoulder and being unable to lift my arm up, Nick had me back to 100% within 5 weeks. Fantastic customer service!
Was told I would need knee surgery. A partial knee replacement. Nick at Valley Rehab has sorted my pain out in 8 sessions. I have a library of easy exercises to keep my knee healthy. I would definitely recommend Nick at Valley Rehab and would not hesitate to contact him again for any musculoskeletal issues
Nick at Valley rehab is top class. He not only is aware of the physical structure of the body and has the techniques to help. He looks into the emotional aspects, your posture and how it affects your whole body. I have had knee pain for 5 years Through sport and exercise . I have tried many ways of dealing with it and in just 2 weeks it is easing off. I am eternally grateful that I can run around after my kids again playing sports and tig etc. It is much appreciated
I was recommended nick. I turned up with what I thought was a hip injury. He identified it was the end result from other muscles not working. He outlined a plan and gave me home exercises within 4 sessions. We did them all in 2 weeks and Completely fixed the issue. 10/10 would recommend - highly knowledgeable and no BS!
After a bad fall on a wet floor, resulting in a very painful knee, I went along to see Nick. He was very thorough at going over what had happened and even my feelings about it scared and unable to move without pain, in my case. Over a few weeks we went through a series of exercises, that I was comfortable and capable of doing. Gradually getting better movement and strength back. I am now back to doing all the things I could before- but more importantly I have the confidence to do those things- without being fearful of hurting my knee again. I would definitely recommend Valley Rehab. Nick’s patient and friendly approach and great explanation of the process was so reassuring. We had a good review afterwards, which was all part of the service and he very kindly checked on my other knee which was a bit sore from driving again! thanks to Valley Rehab for a great service!
Having a great physio journey with Nick, everything has been really well explained at each step. My pain has been explored thoroughly rather than someone saying 'oh your back hurts, let's fix your back' which is a typical GP approach in my experience. Exercises are working well and manageable in my daily routine. Pleasant environment, great comms and friendly staff : Highly recommended
I have never had to visit a physio before and had no idea what to expect. I still don’t own the right pants but Nick has shown me what a truly fabulous physio is capable of. My sciatic pain is hugely reduced and I am so much more mobile after Nick’s careful and thoughtful treatment and exercises. I also am truly of the belief that I will recover. Nick has made me feel empowered about that and I wish him all the very best in his future.
Following one of many acute exacerbations of lower back pain following spinal surgery 10+years ago and many many physio sessions elsewhere, I went to see Nick for a free discovery session. After the initial consultation and identifying what I wanted from treatment in terms of getting back to day to day activity walking, work, gym etc, Nick outlined a step by step treatment plan, quick turn around between appointments, exercise homework and frequent check ins from him, plus reassure that he was on hand if I needed a pep talk or help with exercises. Nick has equipped me with the tools to tackle any back niggles without fear and worry, which can make symptoms worse. I'd recommend him and Valley Rehab to anyone including my mum who has also seen Nick due to knee problems. Thank you for all of your help and support :
