My baby girl got admitted for some weight gain issues nurse Katie was amazing! She made us feel heard and explained what we didn't understand fully she helped settle our little girl without hesitation she was all around amazing from day one it felt like more of a friend then a nurse more need to be like her for sure
For our 20-week anatomy ultrasound we were not allowed to look the entire time, which was not the experience I was hoping for after hearing other pregnant friends' experiences with their anatomy ultrasounds. We were shown about 30 seconds at the end of random glimpses not given the opportunity to see any baby movements and were allowed to take a photo with our phones of a blurry side shot of baby which cut off both the head and body... nnReally disappointing given that this was the only ultrasound until the birth. Feels like you're just a number to them and it certainly doesn't feel like patient-centered care.
Went in on a Saturday, was seen by triage within 15 minutes. Staff were great and caring. Saw a Dr. 20 minutes later and was out after approx. 2 hours. To the staff working on the 13th of December in ER...thank you all very much!
Within the past 48 hours I have visited the ER at valley regional twice, once for my husband and the other for my 3 year old, I am extremely grateful for the kindness & compassion that we had received from the doctors and the nurses, even more so from Dr.Chris I was in such a panic I didnt catch his last name, as a parent there is nothing harder then when your child his hurt and afraid, Dr. Chris was beyond amazing, reassuring and gave my little boy the best care possible
