Valhalla Sandwiches

I've been here twice and both times it truly was worthy of the hype. The staff is s always so friendly and attentive and gives great recommendations if you're not sure which of the sandwiches to try! The outdoor tables are perfect for sunny days like the one when I visited last. If you're a fan of thanksgiving flavors, you have to try the Thanksgiving Sandwich; it's life changing. The Reuben is super tasty as well. Definitely make a stop here if you're in the neighborhood!

Wide selection of esoteric sandwiches. The el duderino is their most popular and really great. Chicken, chorizo, avocado, chipotle aioli, cheese, cilantro, and a buttery bun. Similar in flavor to a torta. I’d add pickled red onions next time. All of the staff was super nice as well!

I've been eyeing this shop for a VERY long time well, since summer of 2022 LOL but never really had the chance to check it out until recently when a friend drove up from Olympia. It's located across of Alice Ball Park on the corner of Greenwood Ave N and N 82nd St in Greenwood. There's only residential street parking around the area which could be difficult to find on the weekends. I got their El Duderino sandwich. At first, I thought it wasn't enough food as it only came as a sandwich without any sides. But boooy, it was filling! The sandwich was delicious! It had sliced chicken breast kind of meh as the flavor and sauce didn't really stick with it and chorizo suuuper flavorful even without the chipotle mayo with it!. The chipotle mayo was a great compliment to the sandwich. It didn't have any heat but sooo yummy! The sandwich was super messy as everything basically fell out of it LOL. My boyfriend got their Valhalla Pork sandwich which had a TON of flavor. It was sooo juicy and tender that I was in shock by how such a "simple" sandwich had so much going on. I actually liked this more than mine always the case when I share food with the boyfriend HAHA. A really great place to grab lunch! They also serve alcohol which definitely compliments with the sandwiches and chips if you order them. The prices weren't bad either for the amount of food we got too! Will be back to try more of the delicious sandwiches!

Been here thrice, and always gotten the Bad Lieutenant and loved it each time! With the Bad Lieutenant you get pulled pork, bbq sauce, and slaw, and then the whole thing has ham, bacon, and provolone on top of that! It’s like two sandwiches fused into one. This place also has some pretty dope tots. If you place an online order I used Postmates, you can pick up your food on a shelf right when you arrive and eat outside. I just wish they were open later than 7 on weeknights!

I am saddened to say that this is the last time I will give this place a chance. I ordered their famous thanksgetting sandwich. Every time something in it has been undercooked, or burnt. This time the stuffing was burnt. It's gross and inedible. Also, the staff can't even be bothered to smile, or even say something like "hi, welcome, what can I get for you?" Or "how can I help you?" It's off putting and awkward.

I’ve been here a few times and have never had a sandwich that wasn’t incredible my favorites are the el duderino, Fidel cashflow, and bad lieutenant in that order. Also the tots are super crispy and they have Mac and Jacks on tap.

A Buddha Call and a Chicken Deluxe - both substantive and delicious. I almost had to eat mine open faced as it was so hefty. Good quality ingredients, super friendly service, and good value. The slaw is also delicious, although I wish the tots were a little crispier. Get the rosemary aioli!

This is a great sandwich place in Greenwood. It's been busy every time I've gone, so give yourself some time or order ahead online. The veggie sandwiches are very good, and my husband loves the El Duderino sandwich. The sandwiches are small, but they are packed with toppings so they are filling! I would recommend them if you are in the area, and there is a park across the street which you can eat at in the summer, as well as indoor seating and patio seating.

Sandwiches are not worth what they charge. And a note to the business: I paid $34 for 3 sandwiches, tipped $7 on a to go order, and when I asked for a side of bbq sauce I was told they are 75 cents. Really? I just paid $41 for 3 half sandwiches to go and you won’t throw in one little sauce? Not covering that 75 cents just cost you a customer. I will never go back here now and will make sure all my friends know not to go back here. Sure wish I could take back my 20% tip on my to go order

Deliciousness with such a great balance of fresh flavors! One of the best Rueben sandwiches we have ever had.. veg-arino sandwich had amazing flavors.. Rosemary Aioli with tater tots was such a sweet surprise.
