This is the best risotto I’ve ever had, the pizza was cooked to perfection! And the chicken parmigiana was out of this world! 6/5 stars I will be returning soon for more!

A nice surprisingly good Stracciatella soup!  The rest of the dishes are nice!  The Latte has a frothy milk top and Napoleon provided a fulfilling ending of the lunch!

Good place to eat! It wasn't super busy when we visited, staff were friendly and the wait wasn't long for food. My husband said the spaghetti noodles in his meal were a little overcooked and my risotto had the same issue; I'm sure they would have fixed it, but we chose to say nothing and eat it because it was still good. Food portions are great here. Desserts were yummy for those who ate some. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Great place to grab a bite with some friends. Parking out front and wooden fenced in patio on the east side of the building garbage dumpsters on the west side of the building fenced around them open concept towards the parking lot. Mail box not too far. Has a dangling wire over head as you enter the parking lot from the road I think that's the cities issue to solutionize. Good food and decent priced  beer. Ina busy location. On king street across from food basics. Parking lot/ patio among other things newly renovated.

Ordered takeout yesterday and was incredibly disappointed. Got the eggplant parmigiana with alfredo sauce and my boyfriend got the shrimp and scallop pasta. Both of the sauces just tasted like plain cream. We both had to put salt and pepper on it ourselves. We’ve been to Valentino’s before and our food had never tasted this bland. I also got a soup which I thought was $3 but turns out it was $8 for a tiny cup of soup that was only 3/4 full as shown in the picture. For a $30 meal you would think you’d get better quality food. Will not order from here again.

Was craving Italian food and saw it was close by from where I was at and decided to call and order. The staff was incredibly friendly and let me know it would take 25-30 minutes. Upon arriving the food was ready and bagged. I had ordered a Panzarottis with Italian sausage and mushrooms, Risotto and a Caesar salad. It also came with their bread which was delicious. It was unfortunate that cutlery wasn't in the bag although I didn't think to ask either. None the less when I got back home the food was still very hot and amazing. The portions were perfect for two people with the risotto being a favourite. It was a perfect blend of buttery mushroom taste I am already thinking about it again. The panzarotti was great as well and it was nice to have a tomato sauce with it to dip. The Caesar salad had a good helping of bacon bits and dressing to mix in with it and overall I would have loved to eat all of this dine in. I didn't think to order desert but they seem to have a good helping of different pastries. Excuse my take out photos but it was super tasty

Really good service. I ordered the gnocchi with rosè sauce as well as the Italian Mac and Cheese. The gnocchi was really delicious, the sauce was rich and Creamy. But, the Italian Mac and Cheese was more of a pure bechamel sauce with a little Mozzarella on top rather than a "Mac and Cheese" with multiple cheeses that make it Cheesey. Overall really good, I'm sure the rest of their menu is great.

My family has been coming here for years. Food and service are always great.  Desserts are definitely worth trying too. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant. Atmosphere is very nice although it gets very loud. You can also end up waiting a while for a table and parking can be tricky at this location.

Went to Valentino's for dinner with a party of 20.  Food was very good and it came out reasonably timed, considering the size of our party.  What impressed me the most, was the service we received from Hannah.  She was excellent - from taking down everyone's order, passing it to the kitchen correctly, distributing them to the appropriate people in our party and the continual service provided getting us drinks, refills, etc.  What impressed me the most was that she did this all on her own!  There was no additional help from any other wait staff, except for the time when pasta dishes came out, there was a wait staff who came around and grated cheese for anyone that wanted it on their pasta yet this person missed people in our party and needed to be called back to tend to them.  I hope the manager of this restaurant knows how good of a waitress she is and appreciates the service she provides seems like a lost art in the service industry these days.  Thank you Hannah for making our dining experience such a good and memorable experience.

Friendly staff and delicious pasta. It's definitely a hidden gem.
