Story

Vacuum Specialists has been faithfully serving Calgary and area since 1970. We started as a small store in the South west of Calgary which was known as South West Vacuums.

We opened our second location in the North West of the city by the Beacon Hotel in 1985 and we were incorporated as Vacuum Specialists(1985) LTD. the same year. We then moved down the street where we purchased our own building which was located at 303 16th Avenue NW where we stayed until the widening of 16th Ave. in 2005, where an opportunity presented itself for us to unveil our idea of how a vacuum store should look like. We were successful in doing so by designing a showroom that is so unique that most customers feel like a young kid in a candy store. The showroom acts as our head office and is located on the corner of Centre Street and 30th Avenue in the North West. We were also able to take the next door bay at 1910 37th St. SW and fully renew it to make it look like the head office.

Four years later we found the need to serve Airdrie and neighboring towns, so we launched our third location in the South West of Airdrie in the Luxstone plaza.

We are proud to be the exclusive dealer of many large brands of central and Portable, residential and commercial vacuums such as: Easy-Flo, Beam, Drain Vac, Sebo, and Husky (Smooth Air). We also sell, service, and install all makes and models of vacuums, intercoms, portable furnaces and air conditioners, and portable and central air purifiers.
