After 35 years of living in Lac La Biche I finally went and had a mushroom burger here. Also was told they have good coffee here, and it was good. A clean restaurant with lots of tables. I'd recommend this restaurant and will come again.
I grew up in LLB and always loved a good V&H burger. The new location is lovey and the food is still delicious! Not as greasy as I remember which is probably a good thing nnThe burgers are a thinner patty than I remember, but still good. I would probably order a double next time! Great price for what you get.nnMozza fries have a lot of gravy and cheese. The gravy is a little saltier than other places, but it’s still delicious.nnI love the flurries here! They are just like Dairy Queen blizzards. Great for a hot day or just a tasty treat.nnIt’s nice to have a place to sit down inside too, unlike the old location which was just drive through and outdoor seating.
The burgers were not bad, but the manager took a stinky dump in the men's room and left me a huge watery mess all over the floors and the sink. Clean up after yourself!nnThere were no paper towels in the bathroom even though it was locked to anyone but customers, is it too much to ask to be able to dry my face to save you a few bucks a month?nnThe lady working the till was very professional and had a nice smile +1 star.
Great service! Food is good for the most part. We get dessert here often. Tried the banana split and was very happy with it!nI love the battered mushrooms and mozza fries too.
Very nostalgic experience. I haven't been to V&H for more than 15 years. The new location brought me back. The fries and mushroom burgers are the same as they were 15 years ago - still delish! Awesome! Love their gravey. Also had a caramel Sunday to finish, they have soft serve ice cream. The caramel sauce didn't seem very authentic. Would love to try one their blended coffee ice cream and their chicken snack packs. Life the ambiance of the building with the old photos of lac la biche on the wall. A must try when in Lac La Biche.
