A no fuss and under the radar gem in Richmond Aberdeen Center and one of the rare options near the city to grab some fantastic quality Asian and Japanese-inspired cutlery at a fantastic price. Ranging from affordable to high-end goods, they cater and stock bowls, plates, chopsticks, cups, amenities and more. I love this joint and is my very clear cut go-to option when I need something within this realm. Their bowls cater an incredible home-made ramen! Support local businesses!

This store at Aberdeen Centre is just amazing! Yes, essentially it only carries Japanese tableware and therefore it might only interest you if you are Japanese. However, some of the items found there are so beautiful, that they wouldn't look out of place in any kitchen or table. The artistry in designs and patterns, in textures, it's all to be found here. The selection includes different sizes of bowls, plates, sauce dispensers, decorated with the subtle details that you would expect from Japanese ceramics. Also found here, a wide variety of "hashi" chopsticks. Customer service was amazing, even on a very busy day, the ladies there still managed to keep the flow going very smoothly. Prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of these items. Visit the store and enjoy!

I think most of my dishwares are from here. I have been coming to this store for years now and have been collecting alot of their cute dishes. They have traditional designs as well. You can also get other Japanese cookware amd bento boxes as well.

I love this place. I love Japanese pottery and ceramics. This has all you need with most if not all coming from made in Japan. A few other cool items here as well. Price is decent considering.

The place is selling kitchenettes from Japan, not something you can find at Omomo. Not here to knock at Omomo. But they are selling cheaper imports from China. Service is excellent from Utsuwa. You can also find nice tea pots, sake containers and glasses..

This is a great little Japanese import business that specializes in clay and ceramic tableware and sake sets. The bowls are especially nice and the staff can identify which are microwaveable. The cute little bath ceramic figures are great but I will wait a year before my kids can destroy them. The pricing varies a lot by the value of the product. Parking is availableed from the mall. Transit is readily aside as well.

I ordered four ramen bowls made in Japan online and they arrived in perfect condition after being shipping across Canada. Everything was carefully packaged to ensure a safe delivery. Very beautiful!

We were surprised to find many of the bowls that we had seen in Calgary here for less than half the price! There were some discounts on plates, bowls, and other kitchen stuff where you could get 2 for $10. The products seem to be really good quality and look really nice so we bought a bunch to bring back. We also found some similar bowls and plates in omomo for around similar prices.

Always my favorite place to go to pick up some great Japanese ceramic ware.... In all sizes and all varieties of design and patterns. And some really great teapots and yunomis as well.... And quaint ceramic origami crane shaped chopstick holders!!! Great prices and when they have sales it's hard to beat!!! Need new dishes? come on by!!!
