Urban Thai Bistro

It was very quiet on the weekend night we dined here. Food was mostly good except we were dining with our kids and all the dishes we order we asked for "mild" -- our kids can handle moderate spices but that usually translates to a Thai mild. We ordered the Pad Kra Pau which we've had at other restaurants before but here, the dish had very little basil and mostly consisted of jalapeno and Thai chiles. It was so spicy it was nearly inedible but "that's how it done" here. There was no warning despite requesting our dishes to be "mild". Also had the Tom yum ka soup, green chicken curry and pad Thai which were all delicious and properly spicy.

Ordered off Uber Eats. Shrimp patties and beef ribs were tasty. The ribs sauce was spicier than expected. My ginger ale was missing inside the stapled bag.

Worst Thai food we had for quite a while. They couldn’t even make a simple dish like pad Thai that tasted good and you wanted to finish. Some fast food Thai could make better pad Thai. Also had the green curry. The eggplant in the curry was almost uncooked. The chicken was over-cooked.

I would say this is the best Thai restaurant in Vancouver tasty and cheap!!!

Picked up Thai food. Chicken in a red curry sauce was very good. Pad Thai was delicious too. Didn't really like the beef salad but have ordered it before and it was excellent.

They have a modern Thai décor interior and wine bar. They have impressive dishes and drinks. I live their Thai milk tea We had : Matsaman Curry Rack of Lamb - Pan seared rack of lamb simmered in Matsaman curry, coconut milk, potatoes, grape tomatoes and onions! <- Heavenly!!! Red Curry Roasted Duck –Tender Roasted duck with red curry, coconut milk, lychee, diced pineapples, grape tomatoes and fresh Thai basil Touch of Spice! I personally love the bold flavor! 3 Flavoured Black Cod – Layers of 3 flavours : Spicy, sweet and sour grilled black cod with diced pineapples, bell peppers, fresh Thai basil and seasonal vegetables. Highly recommended! We also tried these authentic signature Thai dishes, The aroma and the taste were impressive! Chili Basil Chicken Wings Stir Fried Garlic Broccoli Stir Fried Eggplant Beef Noodle Soup with super tender beef brisket cooked in 5 spice broth!

We had a fantastic dinner here. The food was tasty, and the servers were friendly and nice.
