I just brunch'ed totally a verb here with 20 of my friends, and I'm still blissfully happy with the experience. Urban Pine Winery is such an unexpected spot, and now I feel I must tell everyone I know about it so that it never ever leaves. The exterior is rustic, the interior is rustic modern, and the wine and menu is divine. The perfect place for large parties, and never once did we feel like a burden. Big huge fans of the sangria flight. The menu which I'm told changes seasonally was awesome. I tried the Pineapple Pear Sangria, it was sweet and delicious. As was the harvest gnocchi, thought it was a touch dry and needed a bit more sauce. Also rave reviews about both the cheese and chocolate charcuterie boards, which we shared with the table.
Food was great. But the wine flights were lacking flavor I got the white wine flight and my wife got the sangria flight. The white wine was simple but only 1 wine stood out as a difference maker. With the sangria my wife described it as a juice flight, very sweet and not a ton of flavor profiles.
Exactly what you'd expect, and then some! They have a wide variety of entrees and appetizers, not to mention an extensive selection of wines. Definitely worth stopping in. They have a super nice outdoor seating section, but that tends to fill up fast on a nice day.
Was very excited to try this place, but have mixed feelings after my visit now. I give honest reviews based on my own personal experiences. Place was very beautiful inside and looked clean, place was busy and atmosphere was good. Service was not so great. We had to wait on service alot, wait to get refills or bottles or to order food. Our wine /sangria tasted very watered down. Merlot, Shiraz etc are reds and what was brought to us, was not a red. Compared to other wineries, the group was in agreement that our wines seemed a bit "watery" to best describe it. The drinks were tasty though and we tried a variety of flavors. We also ordered a few dishes. I got the pot roast. Roast was very good, potatoes were good, carrots were undercooked, so harder to eat, so instead of being able to cut because they weren't softer , I had to pick up and eat like a raw carrot. The side of bread that was served was hard as a brick and I could not eat. Flatbread was ok, but smaller than we thought it would be, other member got a sandwich and soup and the soup was cold and had to be sent back, it was brought back nuked. So to sum it up, place and atmosphere were nice, service not so great as we had to wait between every class, and every bottle and took awhile for food and not all the food was great. Wine and sangria were tasty, yet didn't seem to be wine we ordered and tasted watered down. Rest of my group said they would not go back, but I guess I would go back and give a second chance. If I do, I'll add to my review
Very good wagyu burgers!! Came back for the new menu everything was really good the elote flat bread was amazing. I got a different burger this time and it was also really good. The brisket with corn pudding was also Exceptional.
Nice outdoor seating, however hostess didn't put up umbrella. I had to. Hostess forgot to tell a waitress we were there. We ordered flights and the BBQ board. Flights were good, but everything on the BBQ board was spicy, including the bread. Not really sure what about BBQ equals spicy? Once we had service, however, our waitress was 100% attentive and friendly. I would go back, but skip the BBQ board.
The Charred artichoke dip with pita crisps was really good as our appetizer. I got the Sangria wine flight, $11 for four 1.5oz tasters. Very good deal! Had the Turkey cheese panini and that was delicious. Reasonable prices, great service and quality. I will be returning, highly recommend!
Have to leave a review after eating here twice. Food is delicious, the wine is good and I'm not even much of a wine person, atmosphere is good with music that isn't overwhelmingly loud, the chocolate board for dessert is INSANE. The hosts could use a little more attentiveness/friendliness, but that's because I was once a restaurant hostess and I had it drilled into me that they are essential as a first impression. We had Jessica as our server the first time, and she was awesome. We had such a great experience that we came back tonight, a few months later, for a low-key anniversary dinner. Everything was still good, only they left the black beans out of my cajun chicken. It was still delicious, but our server Melody seemed a little overwhelmed with other tables, so I was almost done with my meal before I was able to ask her about the black beans. All I expected and needed was a quick apology and to have the missing beans brought out separately. Instead, she got the manager, who apologized profusely and offered to comp my entree and asked how else to make it right. I said I was perfectly fine with just getting the beans separately, which he did, and they were tasty. He still comped our meal. It was all handled above and beyond the call of duty, so I expect we will come back again on multiple occasions.
This is one of the best wineries I have been to. The service is phenomenal; the food never disappoints, the wine is spot on. All of the staff is amazing and so nice. Such a great addition to the area. One of the reasons I come here is to interact with the bartender, Kirsten. She is very personable, knowledgeable and full of great positive energy! The manager, Pat is very attentive and always present as well.
Very nice addition to the local dining scene. The sangria wine flight was very good and the charcuterie board and truffle fries were excellent. Prices are extremely reasonable as well. Also the decor and patio are very cute. Would definitely recommend and return!
