Uptown Pizza

The delivery guy is awesome. He even helped me bring out my pizzas to my car one day when picking up at the restaurant. Always has a good attitude. He also delivers to my door, unlike other drivers who just call you when they pull up. They've never messed up my orders either.

It's good and it's cheaper by a few dollars than other pizza places. Their pizza is better than most and their open late, I think till 11 for those late night snackers

I gave only 3 stars because I only had a pizza and I picked it up. So I'll tell you about my pizza. I was a small with pepperoni. It had a thin crust: a cross between New York and New Haven style. It had a good amount of cheese and it was cooked enough that the slice did not dropped. It was a bit salty, but that could have been the pepperoni. Ambiance wise? There is no ambiance. But that's ok, I wasn't eating there anyway. They had 3 delivery drivers on call even though it was a Thursday. Overall, if I'm in Meriden again and I'm looking for a pizza, I would give this place a second calling. Maybe order a grinder.

Our go to pizza place. Pizza is always good and so are the wings. Usually deliver pretty quickly. Can't go wrong with an Uptown Special.
