Uptown Grill

One of my favorite go-to for breakfast! The menu offers a lot of healthy and not so healthy options; but I’ve never had a bad meal here. In talking with our waitress, you could tell she loves her job and this restaurant. She was having fun and engaging conversations with every one of her customers which was awesome to hear. We had the Classic Breakfast and the Uptown sandwich. Both were very tasty and made exactly as we had requested! I had the Uptown sandwich on an English Muffin, our waitress suggested having it with two eggs instead of three as it would fit better on the smaller bread. She was right! The coffee is always as good as the service and the food here!

Came in for a late breakfast on Saturday to try this place. Its a fairly small restaurant tucked a bit off the road so I almost drove by it, but it has some parking in the front and lots of spots behind the restaurant. its nothing fancy but a good comfortable place for breakfast. The staff was very nice and attentive. the food was very good. Too bad they don't have a 2 egg special like most places do but the food was very good.. their version of home fries, which are not so thinly sliced potatoes cooked and seasoned perfectly, were a pleasant surprise and something i have not had before. Ive tried thinner almost chip type fries, but their version is delicious. Also they dont have rye bread as an option, but they do have sourdough option which is the way to go. the 2 pancake breakfast is also very good.. not the best.. a bit doughy and thick and huge.. really huge portions.. but very good. Staff was very friendly and the food come out quickly. Great place, and highly recommend for a weekend breakfast out with family.

This is definitely my go-to place for a great breakfast. The eggs are always cooked as requested unlike many other breakfast restaurants and the meats like bacon, sausages and ham are always cooked to perfection. The service is always great and I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy. My only complaint would be of the building itself. Parking in the back lot is inconvenient to enter/exit if the drive is blocked by their delivery truck. The outside of the building also gives a slight impression of not being well kept. Overall it's a good place to go.

Great service and awesome food. Love the bakery bread and flattop bacon. New to Guelph, made to feel welcome by both staff and fellow diners. Love this place, our new favorite!

Below Average breakfast I was expecting to be under $12. With a coffee it was over $20 and they only gave me 1/2 a cup of bad drip. Pleasant server

The service here is second to none. I rarely see a team of young girls work so hard and well together. The food is too notch and ownership will do their very best to accommodate any special requests. No I don't have any stake in this place lol. Nice clean place that always provides excellent service and value for your hard earned dollar. Simply put ...this place is Cheers without the alcohol... comfortable, friendly and will always want you back.

Food is fantastic with great prices and great portion sizes, Servers were extremely friendly, and I was surprised at how clean everything was. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to take their families out for breakfast. I will be bringing my family back here in the near future.

Very good breakfast experience. Fast and good service. With lots of coffee and milk alternatives and really good omelettes and home fries.

Great food. I love their breakfast. Service was terrific. I will definitely be going back. I have never had a bad experience here. It can be very busy on Sunday mornings so be sure to get there early. Just remember there is a reason why places that serve good food are always busy.....
