Upper Brant Auto is a family owned business that has grown from start in 1994.. Starting as a Certigard Repair business on the corner or Brant St and Upper Middle, Upper Brant Auto moved to Mountain Side Drive where we are independently run. UBA is a small business that uses a vast experience in the Automotive Sector to give you the best in service and earn your trust.

I am a regular customer at this shop and have always left satisfied with the work that has been done. Never at all have I felt "ripped" off or over sold...in fact when I needed snow tires, Morgan did not push to sell me new ones...he had a set of  very good used ones that he offered to sell me...unfortunately the rims did not fit, but not a problem...Morgan found me a set of used that fit my car.  This winter will be my 3rd year using those tires. Excellent value for the money!!

If you're looking for a trustworthy and honest mechanic Upper Brant Auto is the place to go.  I've always felt very comfortable going there and trust them completely to do the proper work on my vehicle, which is what I was looking for after having a horrible experience with the dealership I bought my car from.

Was charged $160 for them to "clean my breaks' when they originally called quoting a different price and said something else was a problem when obviously it didn't need to be fixed because they left it anyway.  Took less than an hour to do and charged mainly for telling me what was wrong with it but told it won't affect driveability.  When I asked the owner to explain the high price on minimal work he was very aggressive, defensive, and rude.  NEVER going back.

Update- the owner is lying in his comments.  He never explained all the work he had "supposedly done" and was very aggressive when I questioned the high price. There is no way the work took more than 4 hours because they called me within 1 hour of diagnosing the problem saying it was ready.  I explained to my new mechanic what they did and he laughed saying I was ripped off because he knows it does not take that much time to diagnose a car.  I did not refuse the work done, I was told by Morgan, the aggressive owner, that the work to be done was pointless unless I fixed the barrings but the drive ability would be fine. Morgan was very rude and aggressive demanding to speak to my dad.  I suggest going to a more honest owner and have thankfully found one on the Hamilton Mountain. The only reason I had said "okay" and left was because Morgan was being stubborn and trying to intimidate me, and was obviously not going to give back a percentage of the extreme price charge. I decided to take my business somewhere else, permanently.

Morgan is unfair and aggressive.  He overcharges and when asked why he will try to intimate you especially if you are a female.  Please go somewhere more honest!
