I used the Unwind Yoga studio for my website photoshoot and I was delighted with the results. The studio provided an ideal blank canvas allowing me to create relevant ‘scenes’ to create the look I wanted. Sandra and her son were amazingly helpful and flexible. I wouldn't hesitate to use the facility again.
It has been an absolute pleasure to be welcomed in the Unwind Studio on my trip to the area. The teachers have been so welcoming and fantastic to practice with. I shall be back on my next visit!
I'm not bendy. I don't even like exercising particularly. I saw one of the videos on FB where Sandra was speaking about the "Non-scary" Yoga for total beginners, that's what made me think, why not give it a try?? My lesson took place with Juliette- finally a teacher who didn't make me feel intimidated straight away! It was a very well explained, well led lesson, we could do as much or as little as felt right for our bodies and abilities. I didn't feel watched or judged. I felt very safe in terms of Covid-19 precautions in place, social Distancing is being adhered to and hand sanitizer is on display. The place itself is one of the most stunning training spaces I've seen. The materials chosen and probs provided are beautiful and one can feel how much love, care and thought went into the studio. *Disclaimer: I feel I should mention I am Sandra's sister, today was however the very first time I set foot in the studio and it was also the first time I really tried yoga for above mentioned reasons.
Having never done yoga before and suffering from 'laptop shoulder ache' I was apprehensive to sign up for a course as I wasn't sure I would like it, if it could fix my back aches and if I would feel out of my depth being a complete novice. I joined the 'Non Scary' yoga class and it is brilliant! We do something new each week whilst testing but not exceeding my physical limits. Juliette the instructor is wonderful and makes us all feel really at ease and welcome. Plus my shoulders feel much better. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone especially if you are not bendy like me!
From the moment I entered this beautiful yoga space I felt my whole being start to relax. Sandra has created a calm oasis and i felt very safe returning to classes again during this Covid situation. I am enjoying her Yin yoga teaching very much and my body and mind feel better each time I go.
I have joined the jumpstart sessions this week and found the First session to be amazing. Felt very relaxed and a great start to my mindfulness journey. I felt very welcomed by Sandra and the class. Looking forward to my second session tomorrow Lakh
