Story

At the University of Waterloo Stratford Campus, our focus is digital media. This collaborative, strategic partnership between the City of Stratford and the University of Waterloo will bring students, leading researchers, businesses and entrepreneurs together to create, examine and commercialize opportunities in the digital media space.

The Waterloo Stratford Campus is leading an evolution in learning and career preparation. Students will be immersed in a rich, technology-driven environment where theory and practice, science and commerce, creativity and innovation merge to forward digital media.

A beautiful one-building campus with tons of natural light. If you’re visiting, just be aware that the building runs on the hot side temperature-wise, and there isn’t a ton of space for private work, unless you’re able to book a room in advance.
This is a very nice campus and has a lot of great tech features. Recording booths, camera equipment, tons of Macs for students, and lots of meeting rooms. It feels very comfortable and collaborative. There is security at the front desk.nnThere is a large digital wall that students create content for. I believe the student that made the Canada 150 logo went to this campus. The professors are fantastic while you're a student here. Unfortunately, not a lot of them follow up with you after you graduate after telling you to keep them posted if you are looking for help in finding work in your field.nnIn general, very positive atmosphere.
With plenty of advanced resources, supportive staff, a sleek, new design, and next-generation technology integrated into the classroom, this campus is a leader for other Universities in southern ontario and worldwide to follow.
