This university sucks. The staff can’t do their jobs properly, or give you the help you need, get waitlisted for important classes, which causes you to stay back another year or two, students here act like high schoolers, some prof are nice or straight up demons from hell. There are not much summer school options so you have to take classes in other institutions if you wanna graduate on time.
Wasted for years doing a bachelors for nothing at this school. If you’re looking to go into social work, go to a different university. The “bachelors” degree you get doesn’t qualify you to become a social worker. You do 4 years of work for the qualification of a college degree. Better off going to a different university.
Overall just a terrible experience. I don't remember much of the in-class experience bcuz most days I never made it inside there are not nearly enough parking spaces and the few days I did make it inside was even worse. There's nothing in the GH building, everything is in Humber College and that felt more like high-school than my actual high-school, I don't remember a single professor that stood out, any class or projects that stood out, the most clear memory I have of this place is having to plan my entire day around an afternoon class bcuz good forbid you get there after 8am you'll need to take your car to class with u
As a Jewish person I found this institution to be unprotecting to Jewish people. The administration drags their feet against any hate act against Jews , but protects perpetrators. If you are Jewish or a supporter of Israel’s defense against attackers find another institution to study at.
Probably one of the worst managed universities in Ontario. The worst placement coordinator in all of Canada, poorly staffed. They do not care about you, and will not help you find placement. You are just a student number and a source of money for them.
