Although I'm from Europe and study there and just been in this place as a visitor, it sure did get a great impression! All modern, well organized and greatly equipped. Although I didn't get a chance to familiarize myself with studying process here, definitely recommend considering studying here
If you wanted to die walking to class in winter , go study in this university. They will intentionally organise every class away from each other so you have to walk in cold weather. Just because they wanted to make money in parking. The near building parking lots are always full and expensive. Clearly everything is just about making money. I think they charge 7 dollars per hour if you wanted to park near the building for those hourly paking. . So if you wanted to get frost bite walking to class in -30 . Get admission here.
University of Alberta is one of the best Learning institutions of Western Canada. A lot of different faculties for Masters degree , Bachelors, PHD and diploma's, they also have research centre, off course a student residencies, there own separate Mall and this University is expanding getting renovated work getting done, any one can be welcome to take a visit to University of Alberta by Bus, Train or your own transportation.
In my opinion the U of A has some of the nicest buildings in Edmonton. I am a photographer and love bringing my clients to the grounds for either wedding or engagement pictures. If you are not here for photos it is just a nice relaxing place to walk around, especially in fall.
The Surgeons, Physicians, Nurses & Staff are Excellent, on busier days prepare for an little wait; One will receive top not service normally, & It's been long rumored that here; the best surgeons reside.
